I was eyeing a 19" ACER monitor on amazon being sold be Tiger Direct for my home monitor. ( have fifty bucks in gift cards from there )I'm having trouble seeing things in certain games and sometimes in Poser. It's too dark. I've set the gamma in Adobe and switched to a better video card, which helped some, but not enough. 

The work one (same size) will be at the farm, used mostly for checking markets and email, with some web use.  That one it's super important to have good side viewing because there are times 3 people are looking together at the thing. 

We are planning on looking at some in person before buying anything. I was just wondering if some brands were notorious for having poor quality monitors.

ricky sounds like you might live near Chicago. When we lived near there, it once dropped 40 degrees in 20 minutes. Went into the store in shorts and came out wanting a jacket.

Snow storm's been done here for a few days, just have to keep getting it back off the roads and drives. The blowing and driffting are terrible around here. Currently -8 F.

I should clarify, the ages are about 17 and 23 (with no pergnancies). Modern middle class aging is what i'm going for. The heights are 7.5 heads for the 17 year old and 8 for the 23 year old. Same as what tekmonk said.

I agree with Lucifer that the mouse over with the word back is a little confusing. 

You might also try a few less images on a page. Believe it or not there are some people who still have dial-up. 

The background is plain as just white. Think about using a simple, unobtrusive image, or a different color.

The font goes well with your page, but is hard to read. http://fontfreak.com/ has lots of good free fonts and you might find something similar but easier to read.

I thought about shadows myself. I turned them all off because I was getting shadows on the background. I'm guessing I need to do the background differently. I couldn't get a background to show up so I put in skydome and changed the texture. How do you put in a background so you don't get a shadow on it? 

Fog would be cool! How would I add that? In postwork?

I'm not sure if you are looking for a technial critique or a artistic one but since I'm a newbee for poser and 3d work, I can only make artistic sugestions. My first thought is one I often have when seeing pictures of people who do physical labor. He's too clean.  2nd the guy on the left's hat doesn't look like it's touching the head, except maybe on the crown. I'm not familiar with that style of hat (only seen it on the Gordan's fisherman) so maybe it's supposed to be that way.  Putting the chin strap behind the ears might help.  Maybe some hair might too. I don't know.  Also shouldn't there be a zipper of hooks for the straps?
The gut on the right looks like he's in a hazmat suit or a wet suit with boots to me, but again I am not familiar with this style. If that isn't how it's supposed to look, maybe a few folds in the clothing and getting rid of the panty lines might help if you can. Again I'm not that familiar with poser and I've never used 4 so those might not be possible. 
I must say they are better than any thing I can do with it. I could tell that the shirt was a bulky sweater without having to read your discription. The collar and cuffs help I think. And the folds around the elbows.
