The large size differential is the main reason I tend to default to jpg.
Thanks for the clear explanation.

Quote - just keeping it real, boy. this is the poser forum, hence I added something about poser. no need for your snide or stupid comments.
what you missed was that OP had to delete poser 8 from his HD in order to get a refund from SM, only to find that D|S is crashing. but ya get what ya pay for.
snide? stupid? "ya get what ya pay for"?
I paid for Poser 7 and Poser Pro ... and I got buggy programs with crap content and the slowest render engine on the planet. Poor lights. Models with no morphs. I mean, honestly, does anyone use G2 models without RDNA morphs? On second thought, does anyone use G2 models? Apparently not when looking at the galleries and marketplace products.

That said, it's unlikely DAZ is ready to chase off more than half of it's revenue stream just yet.
At the very least, I'm sure their merchants aren't.
Perhaps I'm dense, but how would producing a single model that's cumbersome to use in Poser chase off more than half it's revenue stream? Or any of it's revenue stream, for that matter?

DAZ and SM have different business models. DAZ creates content for sale, and gives away the rendering software. SM sells the rendering software, and throws in some content just to show it works. I fail to see why DAZ should be expected to bend over backwards to make sure it's latest models work well in Poser.
Perhaps they would like Poser users to try DS.
It's just a thought.

Hey, Indigone,
I find that crossdresser tears the mesh on clothes, leaving gaps and holes. Is there a simple option or workaround I'm missing?

Yes, Freak scale is at 1.
Be aware that I do not know how it works in Poser, I only use Poser when necessary (as to create the new cr2 of the Freak with all morphs). The above renders were done in Carrara.
I have noted some issues with other clothing, particularly at joints, but adjustment morphs are sufficient to take care of them.
I would not be without Morphing Clothes - even if just for the ability to insert new morphs into old clothes. Note that this product only works with the same mesh - you can add the Girl V4 to old V4 clothes. You cannot change V3 clothes to V4 clothes.

My bad, I reread the OP and see it's M3 to Freak. Definitely will need some help from WW or XD.
Good to know M4 clothes transfer easily though.

BTW, as is my general practice, I only selected the body morphs. Transferring lots of morphs is generally not necessary, and makes for LARGE files. I find that Morphing Clothes does a good job using just the body morphs. If there is a problem with a particular area (shoulder, knee) you may have to go back and add more to correct.
