Mac or Windws? In the same location as Poser 4, is there a "Runtime" folder? Inside that is there a "Libraries" folder? If not, how did you install Poser?

See link: discussed in Poser Technical last month. Do you know any more now?Thread: Now you see it, now you dont....... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It could be the facets are facing the wrong way. Usually in the display, one side is opaque (or shows the texture) but the other side is transparent.
Thread: Same character, new problem. IK chains | Forum: Poser Technical
I think you can use a text editor on the CR2 file. Search for "inkyChain", the first item is "on" or "off".

Wait, you think "Wabler" is the right spelling? I guess they may pronounce it that way in Boston...
Thread: Documentation for File Types -- rsr, cr2, etc.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
On Macs, there are no RSR files, the same info is instead contained in the resource forks of files. A program (Maconverter) will take a download that says "PC Only" and convert it for use on a Mac. So most of those are not really "PC Only" at all... The others: CR2 is a figure, PZ2 is a pose, FC2 face, HR2 hair, HD2 hand, PP2 prop, LT2 light, CM2 camera. And PZ3 is a Poser scene.
Thread: How do I fix these shadows? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Is that transmapped hair? Make sure the transmap is grayscale (not just RGB that looks B&W). And make sure the black areas are genuine black.

Make your animation time long enough for your sound. Import the sound. Then, when you are in the graph views for the face morphs ("Mouth O", "Mouth T", "Mouth L" and so on) you can see the wave form of the sound, and use it to synchronize with the sound. A lengthy process, perhaps, but you did specify that you wanted to do it completely within Poser.
Thread: Jeff, tell me how to get rid of the 'delete' next to my posts | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Only the person who posted it can delete it. So you see "delete" only on your own posts. And I see it only on my psots.

- Geom swapping identical meshes with different materials so you can turn a dial dial up a texture. So then we could ANIMATE textures!?

how do you know that? is there a way to tell the size of things, relatively speaking? Well, I usually take 1 Poser unit to be 100 inches (or about 8 feet). For example, this bench (when you view it in a text editor) had y coordinates down to -14 or so, about 100 feet underground.
