I just remembered why I was thinking this is best for Poser 7 only though... older versions will save joint rotations and translations ie the actual pose(position) and not just the morph dials. Poser 7 allows you to NOT save the body transforms and only the morphs.

On the bright side, I found a free app to clean those pesky poses up.  Mat Pose Edit! (Why it's called that, I never found out, as it does other things too.)

The thing is, the INJ pose phenomenon came in with Victoria 3.  After her, people forgot how to save MOR poses because ALL her morphs had to be injected before you could use them.  :/
Now we have V4 and lots of other figures that don't need injection but people still make INJ poses instead of MOR poses.  :/

Poser has become a lot less technical and a lot more cookie cutter over the years.  But enough said on that! ;)

Yeah that's it :)  Just that I couldn't recall if older versions of poser have the "select subset" when saving a pose, in which case it could(???) be easier to save a face file and convert it to a pose file.  If select subset does exist, then yep just save a pose file and select the head only. :)

If your version of poser can't save a head only pose then you can save a face (fc2) and an fc2 can be turned into a pz2 pretty easily and it will be a head only pose :)

The point is that (unless you use the muscle or creature morphs) you don't need an INJ.  INJ  means injecting deltas, but because the deltas are already there you just need to pose the dials that already exist.  There is no need for any other app like IPB, just use poser to save a pose. ;)

The only other time you need an  INJ is if you did a custom morph from zbrush or other external app, or with the morph brush tool in poser 7... but then you need to know how to make a custom delta INJ file and you can't do that with Injection Pose Builder (which are for pre-existing INJ deltas.)  You need Injection Magic or similar app, or do it by hand of course. 

You only need injection pose builder if you used Muscle Morphs and Creature Morphs. 
The base and morphs++ are preloaded to Victoria 4 if you own them (and have run the victoria 4 updater after installation.)
If your morphs are preloaded, you just need to save a normal pose file for the whole body and tell poser to "include morphs" and that will create a MOR POSE for your character to be reloaded.  No need for an INJ POSE.
Save a face pose to save a face only MOR POSE.  Users like to have head and body poses separate.
Anyway, I'm sure people can work it out from there :)

I was just a bit shocked at what you posted... I don't partake of forums much these days and when I noticed people have forgotten how to save MOR poses (dial spun characters) and whether or not they are even allowed to sell them, with a few non-newbies giving contradictory and irrelevant/off-topic/side-tracked/whathaveyou advice, your (apparently hypothetical) scenario made me think the whole place had gone mad. 8o

I dispute that you can recreate exact dial values someone else came up with independently.  These dial values up to the 4th decimal over multiple dials?  The chances of you coming to the exact same values is laughable.  IMO, exact matches on possibly ... 5 face morph dials, would be proof enough to report a redistribution (not a "recreation") infraction to the store.  Theives would have to be a bit more clever and modify their dial values just once place... sad laugh

BTW, for anyone still reading... cr2 redistribution has nothing to do with the original post.  To save a V4 "character" made up of dial settings, simply save a face or full body pose and tell poser to include morphs.  That fc2 or pz2 will contain the dial values and can be used by others owning V4 base, complete or morphs++ depending on which dials were used.  You only need injection poses if you have also used Muscle Morphs or Creature Morphs.  The others are preloaded.

Just note - others have gotten the complete opposite response to what Gareee seems to have gotten from EF.  Someone (can't remember who) got the reply that you can even use the EF cr2s directly to create new figures, ie figures that may compete with EF's own figures.  The thread on this is in the copyright forum...

(I remember because that response from EF is opposite of DAZ's stance on competing figures, and I was quite surprised by it.  Imagine allowing competing figures?? Creating a good rig takes up to a year of joint parameter tweaking in poser... )

What is a cr2, you might ask.  It is the file that carries primarily the poser rigging information for the model.  It also carries morph info & texture info.  Redistributing a cr2 is primarily redistributing the rig and it will only be relevant or useful to the particular model it was made for, and any models that were made to conform to that original model, because the rig is specific to the location and shape of the model's joints.

The best thing to do is email the developer directly (EF or DAZ, whichever you are interested in) and not bother with secondhand information.  There are too many vague and contradicting statements even just in this thread, though I know people just want to be helpful. :)

Hmm, Debbie and Gina haven't spotted this but I think I know the answer...
A 10% off with no reqiurement to buy a certain amount is just a nosmal discount Sale. We don't need to do it with coupon codes. And vendors can set discount sales  themselves, doesn't need renderosity...  We can set sales from 1 to 30% off, not just 10%.
Vendor Group Sales are exactly what you ask too and organised by renderosity.  We have one running right now I believe.
If you have items in your wishlist, you get emailed about it if it goes on sale.
If there are items on your wishlist that never seem to go on sale, drop a friendly sitemail for the vendor and ask if they will be having a sale anytime soon ;)

This problem is single sided strips facing away from the camera.  The normals are the problem in poser 5 only.

Bagginsbill, the reason the "normals forward" solution doesn't work in all cases is because that option is not present in poser 5 ;) (as far as I know... because I include it in my mat poses and poser 5 ignores it.)

The normals forward is my recommended solution in poser 6 and 7 plus I recommend NOT to use poser 5.  The user may(must) tweak the material on their own if they choose to do use poser 5 unfortunately :)

Besides using the alternate channels, you could just place lights behind the model to ensure the backfaces are lit the same as the front faces.  Ie your lighting it limited either way.
