Or you could do something outrageous like read page 160 in the manual.
Thread: Required system for Poser 2014? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The advantage of 64 bit is in being able to use more memory for rendering complex scenes. As stated above, for rendering simple scenes 32 bit and <4gb of RAM is fine.

Thread: Re-apply Skin MAT - EZSkin undo? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you re-apply a texture over EZskin that doesn't have SSS then the black-skin issue doesn't occur.
From that point on you can re-apply EZSkin over any other skin map.

I honestly don't think that bump/dispalcement will ever achieve a fine long fur/hair effect like the OP wants. But ther's no problem with trying it.

Don't know how to make dynamic hair stuff like this - sorry.
But I'm sure someone here will help.

Thread: reflection color from an image? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Are you after a simple red glossy/shiny reflect or a radiosity effect, where the red is reflecting light diffusely onto other objects? The former should be easy with a red specular value, the latter requires IDL rendering. Are the valves a separate material zone to the rest of the suit?

I haven't but may do.
One thing for sure is that it will be high quality. All the Truform stuff is.
And it's actually named Driveway Motel

Much simpler and less complicated to offer a V6 cr2 that is Poser compatable. Why not just do that?
Thread: Another Dud from DAZ | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A second thought - with all the litigation over Microsoft engaging in abusive practices contrary to the Sherman Antitrust Act (preventing arrangements designed to advance the cost of goods to the consumer), Daz better take note.
Microsoft was ordered to share its appication programming interfaces with third-party companies, in this case that could be seen as making V6 fully Poser compatable with a Poser CR2. Marking DSON down from $24.95 to free, but still making it an obligatory purchase, doesn't really cut the mustard. Their objective is obviously designed to unfairly direct sales towards their own software (Daz Studio) and away from Poser. Anyone up to a prolonged and very costly court case?

As useless as tits on a bull for Poser users. No, I'm not going to use a 3rd party app to import a figure that was never designed for Poser use. Shove it up your paypal Daz.
Thread: Favorite short hair? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was going to suggest Wild Hair over at RDNA, one of the best rendering hair IMO, but it appears no longer for sale.
Thread: Shadows in Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"it seems like the lights are wipeing out the shadows."
I totally agree with that. Also note that if your camera is pointed from where the (single) light is coming from, the shadows can get hidden behind the figure/s. When I use a single light (in IDL scenes eg) I make sure the light is off to one side or the scene looks poorly lit.
Thread: An age old discovery about scenes that include blended backgrounds | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
He's using Poser 7 so IDL isn't an option.
I'd put the background image on a plane primative or a free background plane and scale/position it. Turn off cast shadows for it and make sure the light direction matches that of the scene. Alternately, render to png with a transparent background and expreriment placing it over different backgrounds.
