In the Edit Keyframes panel, you can remove keyframes for the parts you want to animate (like changing the eyes, opening and closing them, adding a frowning forehead, whatever) and add the expressions you want. Just dont change whatever mouth movements the Talk Designer has created.

If youve got After Effects as well as Photoshop--it can make animated rain effects. I've not done it myself, but I've seen the results, and it's quite realistic.

Looks like the Mobi Creator program with its .prc files is no longer accepted. Have to use the Kindle Gen tool instead. I'll be experimenting with it myself later, see how it works--like the Mobi, you can import the html directly into it, then convert...
I think Amazon's bestseller list is just for their own sales. The NYTimes collects sales from everywhere.

It looks like there's a bunch of new tools to use for the Kindle--
https://kdp.amazon.com/help?topicId=A3IWA2TQYMZ5J6
I create the book in Dreamweaver, import it into the Mobi creator, and test it using the Kindle Previewer. It takes some time and experimentation (their explanation for making your Table of Contents, if you need one, is particularly useless). Some people use Photoshop for the original creation. You can also turn it into a PDF, and convert it to Kindle. I like using Dreamweaver for the original because I am so familiar with that program, and I like putting it into the Mobi creator because it gives me a look at the final formatting, in a .prc format, which I can then upload directly to Amazon.
I'm working on another right now, one of the Don Danger detective series I'm doing with a friend, a combination of text and photos. Is your project all images? Text and images?

Basically up to 5 mb, 9:11 ratio. The attached photo, the inside title page of Kali, done in Poser and Photoshop, is 1002x1502, and it filled the page nicely. I've also used 1200x1920.Â
You got to rather explore their info pages to find what you need--they dont seem as well organized as they could be. But the information is there.
If you get their free Mobi creator, you can preview your finished work and adjust the sizes.

Thread: Figure Bashing Making Me Regret 3D Art | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm actually amazed at how good the figures for Poser are. I know none of them are perfect, but that is where your craft comes in. You use your experience and learning to make them better. I like V4 quite a bit, and enjoy tweaking her, making her older or younger, fatter or thinner...all those morphs are great. And Poser! I am continually amazed at what it can do, even as I struggle up the (sometimes steep) learning curve. And how inexpensive it is, especially when you grab it on sale! And look--this forum has its share of opinionated jerks, a handful of loud mouths, but mostly I see knowledgable people happy to give their solutions to the often convoluted problems we run into. Most of them are even patient. When I am too frustrated about the things I need to learn (I havent tried the Wardrobe Wizard yet, and have only a rank beginner's understanding of the Material Room) I know I can turn to this forum and find sympathetic people. Or sometimes unsympathetic people, who slap me for my ignorance, but still give me guidance. What we do here is great. Kudos to the overworked moderators, and thanks to all the lively, helpful people here....
Stay cool, be tolerant, learn...

Thread: Is Photorealism your goal in Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The word "Art" is a lot like the word "Love." So many different things are called Love--Hey, I love my car, or my kids, or the blue sky in the morning, or the erotic love for a girlfriend, love of my puppy. I love making things in Poser. Wow. I once saw a pile of detritus brought up from the beach and dumped in the center of an art gallery. Is that the same "art" as a painting by Goya? I saw the pile as political "art." Warhol's soupcans are sociological art. A lot of "art" only makes sense if it is explained, so it is conceptual art. A local art group produces what I call weekend art. So we really need a lot of different words for art, with lots of nuances, like the Innuit words for snow.Â
Meanwhile, hey, I love this discussion. Er, it's arty.

It's late, I'm tired, but here we go...I've always felt "realism" is too limited to be, well, Â realistic. Realism is the surface. What is beneath the surface is what is important. Too much concentration on surface misses the point
Think of  quantum mechanics. ..the reality that lies beneath reality..

I believe under Preferences you'll see an option to load the library as a separate window. That way it stays hidden until you want it.

The proper Viking response is to attack the iPad with an axe.
Otherwise I myself can offer no help whatsover. The Apple ecosphere is a self-contained world that doesnt like anything from the outside. It must sense, in some way, that you are an interloper. You are not an Apple. Good luck.

It takes a while to learn any 3D program--and although Poser is easier than most, it still requires time and diligence. It is like learning a new language. You cant just plop yourself in another country and start speaking Swahili in a couple weeks. I dont know the answer to selling the program, but I assume you got Poser because you want to start creating 3D images and/or animations--and so I would argue, give it another shot. Take it slowly. Import a creature, move it around a little. Dont try to do everything at once. Poser is a delightful program and I think the main trick is--well, enjoy it!

Yeah, I'm not certain if it is worth it either, but yesterday I ordered it...a $100 upgrade from my PP2010 Â (plus tax and shipping for the physical verrsion). I figure it will never be cheaper than this, and I know--despite reluctence to decipher all the new features--it will eventually earn its way and I will wonder how I ever got along without it....
And I definitely appreciate the Pro version with its 64 bit processing.
