Mer lite, verkar det som :-) Wow, you can even write in Swedish, that impresses me. Myself I can read Norwegian and understand spoken "standard" Norwegian rather easily, but I certainly can't write it.

No, it doesn't work, not on my Mac at least :-( Stormrage's suit didn't work either. I have a pc also and tried RTEncoder with the macmouse obj-file, but the obj-files must be different somehow. I tried opening it in UV-Mapper and resaving, both the pc and mac versions. No luck. It's a pity that the Platinum club rules stops me from buying the pc-version also, at least if I understood it right ...

God jul is the Swedish phrase as well ... and that is my native language, so I can say that you know at least two words in Swedish :-)

That's a beautiful model! Have you tried Maconverter? Mac Poser won't "see" the file if it is the wrong creator/file type and Maconverter fixes it. I've had the same problem, though I'm just beginning with Cinema and my models are more like simple boxes ...

That is Poser's standard phrase when it can't find the obj-file in the folder where the cr2 says it should be. I think the easiest way to do it, is to use the downloaded file from DAZ on the pc, but you don't install it the ordinary way. Instead you choose install to folder .... . Pick a suitable empty folder. Then you install the lot there, zip the whole directory structure, and move it to the mac. On the mac you unzip the file (Stuffit expander will do it) and let Maconverter do it's job. After that I move the stuff by hand, but I think Macinstaller will do it too.

Also you will need to get Maconvertor if you don't have it already, otherwise MacPoser will not "see" the files. I've moved a lot of stuff from pc to mac and it works fine. You should take the rsr file that is in the same folder as the cr2 as well, or you'll get the shrugging guy. The obj-file goes the same place in the geometries folder as it does on the pc. If you are unsure of where, just open the cr2 with a text editor, BB Edit Lite is fine, and have a look. Right in the beginning of the file there is a reference to blMilman.obj. Mine says Runtime:Geometries:ZygotePeople:blMilMan.obj.

Thank you for the info. :-) It seems that the demo is the same version. The "about-box" says "4.11-02 Build 259068". Marianne

I'm using Poser in Classic under Jaguar. It works just fine. And there are things made in Vue 4 out there, I downloaded and tried one model, and it did load, but there were no textures. I don't know if there were none in the file or if it was Vue not finding them. I still know very little about Vue.

I'm also playing with the demo on a mac osx 10.2.2. It is possible to import some vob-files, but I read somewhere that Vue 4 on mac won't import files from Windows Vue 3.1, and this obviously goes for the demo as well. If you have Poser you can import pz3-files, but you have to put the textures directly into the folder Runtime:Textures in the Poser folder (no subdirectories) for Vue to find them.

That would be very nice of you. Btw the converter I found first was too simple, I read the code and it was just the conversion stuff, no file handling at all. Then I tried another one, but it wasn't quite as simple, the compiler complained of missing files etc. I've done a bit of this kind of stuff on linux before, but I don't remember so much of it now. I'm off to bed now, it is soon midnight here, and another lovely day at work is waiting, so I'll have another go at it tomorrow.
