My hard disk is not partitioned at all. First, when I bought the computer, OS 9.2 was installed. Then I installed OSX 10.1.1, and then I have upgraded 10.1.2 - 10.1.5 without formatting the hard disk. The only thing I have had to do to is hard disk repair by starting in command line mode and then typing a command, which may sound terrifying to a Mac user, but really is quite simple. I think Classic mode is about the same speed in Jaguar as in OS 10.1.5, and probably Poser is a lot slower than in OS 9. But I prefer to do something else while Poser renders, rather than boot in OS9 .... Everything else about OSX is so much nicer than OS9.
Thread: How many people use Mac OS X with Poser 4? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It does work on OSX in Classic mode, but if I remember correctly Curious Labs say they don't support it. I bought Jaguar a couple of days ago, and Poser seems to work better with that than with OSX 10.1.5 which I had before. For example, with OSX 10.1.5 if I quit Poser I had to restart Classic to be able to restart Poser, but with Jaguar it's not necessary. Classic mode also starts much faster with Jaguar.

This is interesting. They certainly look more like real people. But then the problem is, how do you dress them? I wonder if it would be possible to use the Tailor on Vicky's clothes.
Thread: Anyone else having trouble installing the Daz Beard? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Exactly the same thing happened to me when I installed the beard. Part 1 installed as it should, and when I double-clicked on part 2 or part 3 absolutely nothing happened, well maybe I got the hourglass for a short while. I tried to reboot the computer - no joy. The next day I tried again, and then it worked perfectly, got the dialog boxes and both parts installed. Maybe it was because I shut the machine down completely?? My OS is Windows 98 FE

At home: Mac OS X, the best-looking OS I've seen and it's stable too. On my PC I have Windows 98, not so stable. Linux is also hiding somewhere on the PC. At work: Windows 95 and Mac OS 9, not too stable either of them..
Thread: Poser 4 under Classic environment of Mac OSX? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
When I try to relaunch Poser without restarting Classic it immediately quits with the message box "Poser has unexpectedly quit. No other programs were affected" or something like that (my Mac speaks Swedish so this is translated). Contrary to Quoll on my machine Poser has behaved the same under 10.1.3 - 10.1.5 (maybe under 10.1.1 and 10.1.2 also, I don't remember). OSX and OS 9.2.something are installed on the same partition and I allocated 500 MB to Poser out of a total of 768 MB /Marianne

I'm running Poser 4 (not Propack) under Classic mode of OSX 10.1.5 and it works just fine, with Millennium people also. I have just noted two small problems: doubleclicking a pz3-file won't load it into Poser, and if I quit Poser and want to start it again I have to force quit Classic mode first. My machine has rather much RAM: 768 MB.

Where did you put the obj-file? If you didn't edit the cr2-file it must be in :Runtime:libraries:character:Animals: or Poser won't find it.
