THat's awesome, LD! I would imagine there is definite interest for something like this! Nice that you actually modelled a matress too, and didn't just make a deformable box. Not to mention the learning potential from looking at how you set the matress up! I love the fact that not only does it deform nicely around Furette, but it bounces back naturally as well. Shogakusha

Thread: MDP's F202 Charater's clothes Shred to Pieces! How to Fix it? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Good catch Trav! I think it is actually step 5. Reading the steps that Alpha took, looks like the pose was applied at frame 1. I just checked my original response to him, and the step was, "Advance the animation frame counter to frame 30, then apply the pose you want to the F202 character." Alpha, Make sure you advance the animation counter to frame 15 or 30 before applying your pose, and your problems should go away. Good luck! Shogakusha

Thread: Need help with the Cloth Room on MDP's F202 Character | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Alpha, Sorry I could not give you more time earlier, but I was still at work. Did you attempt the tutorial from the link I sent you? While I understand you are not interested in making an animation, dynamic clothing does require you to make a Cloth Dynamic Calculation which is basically a small animation across a limited number of frames (usually 15 to 30 frames). You need to load the F202 character into your scene. Turn off IK on both her legs. Bring up the Joint Editor and click 'Zero Figure' to zero out all joint bends. Load the SleeveDress prop. Make sure it is parented to the hip of the F202 character. Advance the animation frame counter to frame 30, then apply the pose you want to the F202 character. Go to the Cloth Room and click New Simulation. Enter 10 in the Draping Frames field, accept the other defaults and click OK. Click Clothify and select SleeveDress-Femme from the list if it is not already selected. Click Clothify button. Click Collide Against. Click Add/Remove button. Mark the checkbox for Figure 1 (this should mark all checkboxes for Figure 1 body parts. Click OK. Set Collision offset and Collision Depth to ~0.450. Click OK. Click Calculate Simulation. Watch as Poser advances through frames 1 to 30, and F202 takes on your pose with the SleeveDress following her. Dynamic cloth does take patiance and a bit of learning, but the results can be wonderfully realistic. If you are still having problems, post an image here showing what is going wrong. Good Luck! Thread: Idle Poser4 uses 50% CPU -- normal? okay? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
pjbear, Unless I am mistaken, you have a newer computer that have a hyperthreading processor. That is, it is designed to handle multiple tasks at once, and half the processor is all it is going to give to anything. I have the same issue on my new Alienware PC. I have found no method of convincing my PC to use the whole processor. So I just use the other half to cruise the internet at full speed while I render, or do Photoshop work while rendering without any noticable slowdown of either app. It has its pros and cons. Good luck! Shogakusha

HI all! Thanks for all your interest! With luck, the Ryoko Dress will finish beta testing this weekend. If so, I will upload to R'osity's marketplace on Monday or Tuesday next week, then it is up to their testing/approval cycle. As SpiceBunny said, the package comes with both a dynamic and a conforming version of the dress which should be workable from P4, PP and P5. It will also include some basic textures, templates for texturers to make their own, plus a sash that is not in SpiceBunny's renders that can be used as either dynamic or a parented prop.
