hborre, I have Universal Poses on in Poser Pro 2014, but I don't see a double check icon at the bottom of my library. I can load poses for the "wrong" model and get results that need hand and foot tweaking, but I was hoping for a Poser program that would reduce or eliminate the tweaking. I've read that Daz programs can do a good job of converting between the 4th Gen characters and the Genesis 1-3 characters. It may be I just need to accept that I'll need to do some tweaking. In any case, thanks for the reply!

A free version and a pay version seems like a fine plan. I have wondered if DAZ has a Dog 2 in the works. I think that's an argument against doing a brand new dog, unless you thought it would be fun for its own sake, of course. Knowing DAZ, any new dog would cost a lot more than what you're estimating for your pay version.

I like it, but if you're after a comic book feel, you might see if you can find something that provides more of a black outline. There are some Photoshop actions for sale here by AdamWright and Darkworld and maybe others that you might like, if you haven't seen them already.

Thank you! I think I did the first step right, and I tried one and two percent, which I suspect is the amount Haberlin was using. But I don't think I properly reversed the normals, because I just ended up creating something that looked more freakish as I increased its size. I've decided it's time to sit down and read the manual so I'll have a better understanding of what I'm trying to do, and then I'll give it another shot.

I have mixed feelings about the grab bags. Once I got something that amused me, something I never would've gotten on my own but may find a use for. Once I got something that was completely useless, a texture for an item I have no intention of buying (and to Renderosity's credit, when I sent email about that, they sent me a different random item, which was very nice.). Recently, I got a kink item that I haven't complained about, but it's nothing I'm interested in, and it seems, well, like the sort of thing that shouldn't be in a general grab bag. If you're going to keep doing the grab bags, you might give people an option for a general grab bag or a mature one.

Go to Daz and search "P4 Horse Textures". It's $2 for 10 mats and 10 poses, which works well for my needs and budget. (I would give you a link, but I'm not sure what the forum policies are.)

In case anyone else is interested in older horse models: The mats look good to me, so Poser must still be providing the P4 horse.
