Hiya,
No, no EZSkin for me. I never cared for all the nodes being renamed as I have a hard enough time figuring out what they do with their default names. So I don't go down that path.
You are correct, the normal doesn't do much. I think it does a tiny bit but not veiny enough for my tastes. SO which math node would I choose to experiment with?
Sorry for the delay, I'm doing a hilight on a client right now so shuffling back and forth here and to the other room where I'm doing my clients.

It's a normal map that gives the genital conformer some veins.

OK, I found my notes. Let me fiddle around for a while. WHEW.

Making better progress but now back to my Achilles' Heel, getting the genital conformer to blend out. Without the use of the PrincipledBsdf and my particular skin shader setup I'm at a loss here. Here is the setup and the map just sitting there waiting for some direction. Example of the Cycles skin and the current pubic set up which is how the rest of the skin is set up for L'H. I just need a way to connect the transmap to the main output to give that soft blend out. I thought seriously of just making a merkin in ZBrush and going around all this that way. BUT if I can tackle this without all that extra work I'm game.
I'm pretty sure Ghostship gave me instruction on this but I can't find my notes. At the time my rotator cuff issue (still ongoing but much better) was causing me a great loss of sleep so that whole time is a blur for me!
Please ignore the facial hair, I don't have those shaders for Poser 11 done yet.

I just posted over at SLACK since I'm on the team to see what the feedback is about this. Maybe Tim or Charles will see the post. I also posted the link to page 21 of this thread so they can read through!

NOPE honey, I have all that turned off as well. There is a noticeable brightening to each finished render!>>>> @hborre, the problem with what I described as a gamma jump is, I can't show it. Even if I stop the render close to finish, a second later the picture gets brighter. What are you referring to by an OS problem?
I haven't read through the entire thread so if this has already been mentioned, my apologies in advance. It sounds to me like you have PostFX enabled in the render settings dialog. In the SuperFly Render Settings tab, uncheck Apply Post Effects to Render.

It's not an OS issues, this is happening in Poser. I run Windows 11 fully up to date. NVIDIA drivers up to date as well.@hborre, the problem with what I described as a gamma jump is, I can't show it. Even if I stop the render close to finish, a second later the picture gets brighter. What are you referring to by an OS problem?
My OS is Windows 10 pro, latest build, installed last week, latest updates in place. Graphics cards driver is also fresh from Nvidia Web Side. Could it have something to do with the fact that my PC is nearly 13 years old? At least the CPU and the Mainboard is, other parts are not. I will reinstall Poser 12, to check if I missed this happening there also. Like I said, I only noticed it in Poser 13. Since I use quite a few render engines on the same PC, like cycle's in Blender or VRay in C4D, I think I had noticed if this happens there too.
Any suggestions?

I notice that as well and don't care for it. If it's going to be set as a default they should set in a slight contrast adjustment as well since brightening up each finished render can cause some of the details to fade a bit. Contrast would pop the colors and bring back in the stronger blacks.Speaking of Post FX, I noticed that the rendered image, right after it's finished, jump's in the gamma value at least half a percent point up, meaning it gets brighter. Post FX is not enabled and all values are at default.
Might be my graphics card driver, or did someone else noticed this happen? Can't remember that this was an issue in Poser 12.

Yea, there are some issues with the notifications in this current system. There also no link when I do get a notification to take me to the most recent post. So if there are 15 pages I always arrive at the first page and have to click the page 15 and then scroll down. Not the most friendliest and well thought out system sorry to say!

Ah, Ok. It's too bad the code team can't think of a work around for micro displacement for SF / Physical Root node and or Cycles. It's basically micronized noise

I'd open a support case so Tim and co can look it over. You may be required to do a collection and zip it up and send it to them. See below how to go about doing that... You will want the "collectSceneInventory" script..........
When you submit your case you should have an area to upload (drag and drop I think) your zip file to upload to their servers.
