I am halfway back - halfway because we really tried out the fullness of life yesterday (did you know that something like cinammon-liquor exists?!) with nice drinks and foods and hours of fun!
I promised to post some pictures here - so here we go (don't mind the elder fellows in the mid, these are just two crazy people who decided to marry ).

also in case of earrings I have not ever found any reason to make simple stuff like that into a conformer.
As long as the earring are simple and static you can get away with a prop. But then you usually fight with endless tweaking to have the correct movement when the figure is posed. I have lots of earrings here that I hardly ever use because they do not act logical.*

Les - you've made my day (again) - translating this into german was even more puzzeling and funny!
Shante: In fact it's good that parenting is not done automatically any longer as de-parenting is a bit tedious. There is no sense in parenting for instance a door, a stairway or a column to a character like you have them in many scene sets.
And dynamic clothes are not always parented to the same body part. While a blouse is best parented to the chest (usually) a skirt should be parented to the head and a handkerchief either to the hand or to the pocket of a blazer.
So now you simply choose the object, open the property tab and click the button for parenting and see the hirarchy editor.

I think you will like Poser 9, it's a big leap forward. Weightmapping and the far better interpretaion of SSS are worth the investment alone. Although you can't create Weightmaps in Poser 9 you can use them anyway when created by someone else.

Sorry, I have no clue about the haircon.obj and where it may be available. Meanwhile there is a hairconversion for Antonia avaiable at RDNA that works like a charm, even with cr2-hair (with few exceptions that have non body-part bones, at least this seems the reason for me that parts of the hair are not converted).
About the animation: There is a huge request for them here, where Antonia WM is prepared at the moment:

You may want to have a look...
Oh and Les?! May I add that I miss you over there, you and your quick little hints and solutions?!

as far as I know Puppet Master is not compatible with the most recent version of Poser. I work a lot with it and so simply start Poser 7 that still has Puppet Master in it and convert them. Then I move the poses to a new folder (into PoserPro 2012) and finetune everything there.
By the way: I have a new dat-file for Antonia 1.2 that you might like. I have attached it to this message, you just have to rename the txt to zip. And I think that the Joint Limits Pose for Antonia by Netherworks is extremly useful when converting. The converted poses often show extremly twisted feet/toes and fingers. So when fine-tuning everything:
Load Antonia into a fresh scene
Use the limit pose
Choose "Use Limits" from the Poser menue under "Figure"
Apply the converted pose you save
Tweak any bodypart
Uncheck use limits
And finetune everything else until you are satisfied.
This way you do not have to fumble around with rotated fingers and such.
I've updated the file on the Antonia Freebie site as well. I tested it with Antonia 1.2 and Standard, the resulting poses work with the upcoming Antonia WM as well but may require some small tweaks.

We are preparing a readme at the moment that will ship with the weightmapped Antonia (Antonia WM). She will be free as well. As far as I read the draft there will be lots of hints on what works with what version. The latest version is Antonia Standard. Anything that works with Antonia 1.2, Standard Mapping, will work with this version.
Dynamic clothes are even more versatile, they should work with all versions, same should go for propped shoes and such.
The major difference between Antonia 1 and Antonia 1.2/Standard is the renaming of the hip and waist parts to fit the standards of Wardrobe Wizards. So every item for her that has these parts (conforming clothes) must be checked if it still works and, if not, be tweaked.
About the textures: If you are unsure open an Antonia texture that contains the body/torso. If you find arms and legs on this texture along with chest, stomach and so on the texture is made for the "A-mapping", the older, original mapping. If the arms and legs are on a seperate texture-file they will work with the new mapping, the one that Antonia Standard uses.
Feel free to ask if you want to know more or something specific!
