It was a toy rabbit figure from ShareCG.  I do not know the whys.  I started over on the scene and loaded things piece by piece.  Checking to see if .pz2 expressions continued to work on her after each one.  Loaded the rabbit, stopped working, deleted the rabbit, worked again.  

Sometimes I swear it seems so arbitrary.  Like - oh was the wall brown?  There's your problem.  Did a squirrel squeak in your neighborhood within 5 seconds of hitting the render button?  There's your problem.  Just smh lol

Sigh.  Poser just makes me mad sometimes.  For whatever reason, it decided that I would not be able to change expressions on my figure if my room is part of the scene.  Yeah... the connection... I do not know.  So I've had to delete the entire scene and now I will have to rebuild it piece by piece until I figure out what that issue was.

Pics of my blanket progress will not be coming as quickly as I would have liked. 

To note on this though: in PP2012 the option to drape from zero pose or not was in collision settings rather than simulation settings.

Thanks for the tips.  Unfortunately no, I do not know the details of his version or lighting set ups.  I will ask about that.  We'll see where that gets us.  Thanks again!

Dumb question (maybe), I'm using a SS skin shader already.  Can I just delete the VSS prop and get the same results?  I'm currently reading through BBs thread on the studio, but doing test renders at the same time.  

From what I gather so far it does work well inside a room too, so thinking I will keep the dome since I don't really like that, everything but the front of the model is black look.

Aunupaum, Thank you.  I'm not sure why the heck I didn't think about making the sphere invisible in the camera.  Probably assumed it wouldn't work that way.  LOL.  I'm going to use that tip so that I can use my background.

I don't think anything has reflections on it.  I should be keeping notes on what I've checked.  This has been over a week of working on it, getting frustrated and then walking away.  

Laurie, thanks for that tip too.  I may have had an image on one of the lights somehow. At one point I was just clicking through light libraries trying to get something that worked.  Who knows what I messed up.

Trekkie, I love you lol.  I have a whole runtime for your stuff.  :)  Thank you.  I don't use VSS but I will take a look into that Soft Light Studio.   Can't go wrong with BBs stuff.

Do you mean PML?  I have that script.  I can look into that.  Thanks for the tips.  I'll have to stop for the day soon but I may have some questions on that if I am correct in the script you are referring to.

Yes C4d does mess up the vertex order.  That is the reason for using the Riptide utility for exporting and importing into C4d.  It does not appear that messed up vertex order is causing my problem because during trouble shooting, I did the entire process on an UNMORPHED V4 and had no issue.

The fact that she's already morphed seems to be where the problem lies.

Toxicwolf, I am feeling like I too will have to resort to using only the Poser Morph tool.  I can't stand that clunky thing.  How did you transfer all of your morphs to the clothing you used?  Wardrobe wizard?  I own it, but have never learned how to use it.  I don't typically spend much time with clothing so never really had the need.  

I'd still like to learn how to create morphs on top of morphs outside of poser.  I guess you and I both will have to hope someone comes along who knows.

nm now that one is working too.  I guess all problems solved.  

Well that order did go through - I'm not sure exactly how long it took as I restarted my computer and did some other stuff during the wait.

However, now I have another order 112298336 that is now doing the same thing.  Says unpaid, but it shows paid at paypal.
