Darth- Bigger Problems- and the dreaded repeated "Blue Screen of Death". I had figured out that problem one could be the default screen setting for Super Vicky. Reset it to 400 x 400- saved it, reloaded it. Found that by running "Sketch Render" I could get partial display of some of the Poser menus. Leaving Sketch and clicking around, I could get full Poser menus, but any attempts to render or do any other operations caused "bad" crashes. I run a lot of high-end 3D on a fast system so I suspect that something in Super Vicky may be doing this. What? I don't know.

Hi Darth, I waited in line and finally got Vicky last night, but- When she loads the entire Poser program is BLANK, except for the top menus (never seen anything like it before). So I go to the Hierarchy Editor- and its ALL THERE. But NADA on the screen!!! I have a P-III with 385 MB RAM so that's not the problem. What else could be making Super Vicky become Stealth Vicky?

Great Poses. Nice to see that extra touch that makes them into real babes, rather than manikins.

Jeez!, I went to dinner and when I came back there's this @#$%&*!! LINE nine blocks long, waiting to download Darth's humongous file!!!. You would think it was the premier of a major motion picture!!! (Well, better get back in line and shut-up. Looks like it's gonna rain.... oh, well. Gotta see this one!!!)

I doubted the value of Vicky too, as she is communist Central Planning Committee ugly. But Darth's characters make Vicky totally worth it. I bought Vicky just to use Darth's Marilyn Monroe, and that makes it totally worth it right there to get Vicky. Zygote should be paying Darth to make Vicky look so good (and be such fun). Also- current T-Map Hair and other props do in fact work with Vicky (not P4 clothes) so it isn't such a big deal really.

She is looking much better Darth. I would also like to see her hips, in that it also largely defined her 1950's look. Her hips looked like Bo Derek on the previous renders. Bettie had that large hips look that was very "hip" in the 50's and gave her that somewhat large rear-end look. She really didn't have that big of a rear, but the hips made her look larger in that area. Getting that naughty look in her eye is also a really difficult thing to nail. Her nose also had that "ski-slope" look, also hard to tweak on a Vicky (or any posette). The other hard one is the "dropped lower lip" look (something that Peg Bundy in "Married With Children" could do well)- all part of Bettie Page's personal style that maybe no 3D babe can ever match. A tough one, eh Darth?

Darth- the hips still need to be adjusted. If you ran a horizontal line across her navel, that section of her hips would be wider, more like a "box" shape than a pear shape you have now. I also refer to this as the Raquel Welch hips shape. One of my earlier Bettie pix posts shows her hips in a B&W and red graphic. The portrait pic you have here that strikes me as the most "Bettie" is the middle left one. It looks a lot like her younger photos when she was first starting out as a Photo Club model.

I always believed that the actress who played the wife in "Married With Children" (sorry, I can't remember her name)was a direct Bettie Page "vamp"- (she used the Bettie look as her character)If some pix of her could be found she would be another potential face model- however I still think enough good pix of Bettie Page exist for SOMEONE OUT THERE to make a good Bettie Page on the Vicky level(Pleeeeeeease!)

Yes Darth, Scarab is right. You should take a look at the color pix I sent. Check the hips too. Need to be more Raquel Welch, as in a real figure-eight hip. The thighs are there but not the upper hips. The breasts and top shoulders look good. Face-wise too you need to capture her unique wide-smile and that special naughty look in her eyes- it was a pose she really mastered and struck it repeatedly for photographers. But take all this constructively, as I know you really spent a lot of time on Marilyn, and she came out great. I know you are up to the Bettie Page challenge as well.

When do we get to have Buffy? (drool)
