When I click on properties all I get is the General tab period, no other tabs show up. If I can still install the .mat files, the usual way, even though the icon is wrong, at least they' ll go in. That was my main concern. Even the .mat files in the program, have the wrong icon type. They still seem to work. So I'll see what happens. Thanx for your suggestions.

Thread: New Provisions for Renderosity's Freestuff--Please Read!-- | Forum: Freestuff
I've been thinking of finally offering some freebies here. It would be my first time. Share CG seemed like a good place to use for them, as I have no site or storage of my own, and they seem to be well run. A lot of the artists here use it. I don't think anyone could get rich on what they'd make on Share CG, so I don't understand the idea of flooding the freebies section, here or anywhere else. Anyway, I hope I'm still allowed to use it, at least til I find a possible alternative. I definitely will not use sites like Rapidshare, etc. I think they are horrible for people to D/L from because of the wait times, and D/L limits for the free users.

Thread: OT: Have your ran your screen name through a search engine lately? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I just tried looking up "Artnik" and found several listings, none of which had anything to do with me. How can I differentiate myself from the other "so-called" Artniks? I think I was there first, but who knows? It's a bit spooky.

Strange as it seems, only a few days ago, I was looking all over for the Adamite files, too. I Googled all over. I finally found the link! The Backroom apparently doesn't exist anymore, but this link still leads to the Adamite downloads for those files, and is still working. I wish they'd re-instate the backroom, though. Maybe if there are enough requests, they will. Don't worry about the short link - it still works.Thread: this is to MatCreator | Forum: Bryce
Thread: After 17 Years... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had to put my condolences in, too. I had a very similar experience with our 17 year old cat a few years ago too. It was so very sad having to put her to sleep after all the delight she brought into our lives. We really miss her little furry presence around the house.

Thread: Totally OT: SG-1 Ends! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I never got involved in SG-1, although I enjoyed the original movie. My reason was I have been very disappointed by the networks attitude towards giving new shows a chance before they cancel them. I got interested in several, only to find them vanishing, some after only a few episodes. Even some on pay cable (HBO, etc.). So I don't invest too much interest in most of them anymore.
I still watch a few longer running hangers on though. I decided to give "Life on Mars" a chance, because I can watch it at my leisure with "On Demand", so I don't have to watch it when it's broadcast. The concept seems interesting. I think I may become a fan. 1973 wasn't that long ago, but there's been so many new things since. It's kind of interesting to see how far things have come since then.

I can't seem to get anything besides a larger image in a separate window, also. No D/L link at all.
Thank you anyway, in advance for your generosity. I hope to enjoy it, soon.
Thread: OT- Anyone use AVG anti-virus software? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been using AVG for at least two years. The free version, at that. Daily updates, plus special updates and a lot of other great features, IMO. I have found it very reliable and dependable. I don't notice any system bog-downs on my new machine (about a year old - 2+ Gigs) Or my old machine ( 6 years old before it died - only 500 Megs).
