Thread: Poser 2012 Crash | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thread: OT: realityPaint | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
OK, I am now trialling this product, and following the tutorial âExporting an OBJ from Poser for Morphingâ. Every time I try to save the OBJ file, it crashes Poser. I have Poser 2012.
Is this a known issue ??
Pretty pointless if it is not going to work !
regards,
Andrew

dadt, thanks anyway.
Maybe you should do an animation of Elizabeth spilling tea on Hyacinth's Grade 1 Axminster carpet .... :)
...or maybe breaking one of Hyacinth's Royal Doultons with the hand-painted periwinkles !!

Quote - About the best I can do using Shena Hair.
Any ideas for speeding up the render of dynamic hair?
I'm using PP2012 and have most of the render settings at pretty low values as I do a lot of "quick renders" to get the look right before doing any detailed ones. I often turn radiosity off for transmapped hair, but doing that for dynamic hair really kills the look. Any ideas?
Thanks

Mark@poser - most of the dynamic hair images in this thread look very thin. Yours is an exception, it looks fantastic.

Quote - I have used nothing but dynamic hair since it was first introduced, but I very seldom drape it. For shorter styles it is not needed and if used the hair droops and loses the styling.
This is a typical hair of mine.

Is this the Elizabeth Warden character from "Keeping up Appearances" ? .... sure does look like her.

OK, I've fixed it. I clobbered Poser Pro 12 completely. Uninstalled it, then wiped out the data directories. Then re-installed it, then re-installed all service releases.
**** sigh ****

Sam,
Thanks but that did not work at all. It's playing silly buggers at my expense.
I cleared out Andy, but now its hell-bent on loading up a file called OfficeFoyerBG_512.jpg.
I even loaded up a different pz3 file, started a brand new file, went into Preferences and set this as preferred state. I then closed it down, and opened it up again.
This time, when I opened it up, it started nagging me for OfficeFoyerBG_512.jpg again ("Please locate..." dialog). I was able to find it doing a hard disk search and tried to load it. But it refused, and kept on popping up the dialog again and again and again and.....and again sigh. Hitting OK or Cancel made no difference.
BTW, the Andy file that it was originally insisting it couldn't find was MilkManAndy.cr2 (which I couldn't find on my hard drive).
I can't win.
regards,
Andrew
