This worries me a lot to be honest, I didnt spend my money for half finished software (to be honest it feels like i am) I should really have been more wary after the constant crashing of pre service release Poser 5, its stupid. V3 loaded and a high res texture and 6 lights and poser has grabbed 1.3gb of memory, :(, i can feel a complaint to CL coming on.
Thread: A Curious question about the Poser 6 rendering bug | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I keep getting out of memory errors on renders which render fine under equivalent render settings under poser 5, even though i have 2048mb of DDR 400 RAM, something seems wrong to me somehow.

Thanks PapaBlueMarlin, i've resigned myself to spending my weekend to doing this as it seems to be something i cant just buy and tweak to my need. Ill post later with whatever i finally come up with. John

My thoughts exactly, although Zeta Studios Morgana is great, there needs to be more high resolution "middle aged" textures out there, i hope someone out there is listening! John

Yes, funnily enough, that was the texture that got me started, unfortunately i couldnt find a good matching body texture and combined with a younger body texture it seemed mis-matched to me :) John

Yes, this is my problem, plenty of flawless models, nubile girls, musclebound heros... But there seems to be a distinct lack of anyone who is middle aged. :( John

I picked up version 1.5 and it just works, i can load my character then my clothing then its done for me :D. Out of pure interest, how was this done pre-tailor? or is it a nightmarish task, i was sat scratching my head with Xbrush but i eventually gave up. John

Hmmmm, i did look into this, but im not sure that you can load V3 into the tailor, you have to load another figure to do the conversions, V3 mannikin, which is for changing clothing to V3's proportions, and i need to export the V3 morphs to the clothing. Im not sure if the Tailor 1.5 supports V3 CR2 with injected morphs being loaded straight in, if it does then theres my answer i guess. John

If you mean the P4 one, then yes it is alright, but its not what i was looking for, its a little too lo-res for my needs, if theres another please let me know, or if you can think of any items of clothing for download or purchase that could be used? Many thanks John

Thread: Getting clothing to fit my models??? | Forum: Poser Technical
Hi Elfmaid, You can either morph the body to make the clothes conform (which i wouldnt advise) or you can morph the clothes to the body, if you do the latter you wont have too many problems, a good method is to hide body parts if they are going to be totally covered, and are only protuding slightly. I do however recommend the Tailor, it is a very useful tool, and does work with VV and Mike There is a trial version of the Tailor that you can download to test, (you should be able to find it in free-stuff) Hope that helps. John

If you are feeling brave i think you can download MAYA PERSONAL LEARNING EDITION for free at the moment from their website, but im not sure how it would stand if you were getting paid for the work done in it.
