Well, the reason it's so hard is that nothing will look photorealistic in just pure blackness; you never see anything like that so your brain won't believe it. Setting is an important part of photorealism.

The model looks good from the thumbnail, but at closer inspection it is actually not very detailed or correctly proportioned (no offense to the modeller). -Jeremy

By this point, the damage is already done. The application of the mimic pz2 to the second character has truncated the animation and the two are talking concurrently. The new sound won't help unless the timing of the animations is correct. -Jeremy

You misunderstand. The conversation IS one sound file, but it was split up for use in mimic. The long sound file is imported into poser. I've noticed that mimic automatically sets the sound file to the one it used to lipsync; maybe that's the problem. Is there a way to disable it from doing this? Thanks, -Jeremy

You mean there's a tool that can convert .BIP files into BVH's? Where? Where? I've been searching in vain for such a tool... Thanks, -Jeremy

Nance - I think JeffH hit the nail on the head - the animation WAS from a .pz3 created with LipSINC's online demo. Lipsinc is in the process of beta testing (private beta) a lip-synching product called Mimic, which takes a .wav file, analyzes the speech within, and automatically makes your character's lips move accordingly. You can find more information at http://www.lipsinc.com
