Bryce 6, I have been contacted by friends I haven't heard from in over two years. In each case I had to promise not to let the cat out of the bag, and since they are reading this post, mum is the law. What I can tell you is that antiquated OS's will NOT be supported. So what? What kind of referred weeny-osis would lead anyone to toss in the towel for such a lame claim? I hope I have misspelled a few words so as to diminish my credibility, thus sparing the feelings of the weeny-of-the-first-part. Bryce 6 will kick butt. -Gear PS- Poser/Bryce Bryce/Poser (thats all I'm gonna say.)
Thread: Progress report: Poser animation within Bryce. | Forum: Bryce
The only reason I come back to this page is that, as you know, I get an e-mail each time someone responds. Last year when I started this I got NO support from the PC world. Only Mac-heads chimed in. I dislike the WinTel world so much that if you want my cooperation, you'd better stay in the closet. I am extremely busy creating a 3D animation for IMAX. The frames are huge and time intensive. Nothing you've seen on TV or in the movies could prepare you for the quality of these Poser animations within Bryce. Magic beyond reason. You will not inspire me to pre-publish any of it by dare or doubt. I will admit to being somewhat cash strapped, but BELIEVE ME, that won't last very long. Yes, I've revealed the method of approach, but I'm not your average hack, and if you think you can here from zero, be my guest. The PC MIDI sequencers, the best of which are German, are probably not up to the task for reasons that are somewhat esoteric. More when I get a chance. -Gear

Oh. I'm sorry. Did you think I was going to share this monster? I'm creating 3D IMAX animations. This tool is too valuable. Competition and all that. Perhaps for the right price...... -Gear
Thread: When does Poser5 come out? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yeah, Gear, get with it! They'll never make any new stuff! There's not 'gonna be a Poser5, and no Bryce 5 either. Forget it! Dead issue. Go home. Gear-

I'd rather BUY renderosity than donate to it. An IPO maybe? How about an outright purchase. How much? -Gear

Oh, yeah, I forgot. Free beta copies to anyone with even moderately useful input. What the heck, even a ridiculous but noble attempt, or even a bad joke. But to the rest of you humorless doubting Thomas's, $79 feels about right. Stay tuned. -Gear loves you all.

Oh the pleasure it is to rant Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't But if you rant and rave, perhaps Your name is Zik, Ohman or Schnaps. -Gear (sorry-'been up for days deadline rendering. 'Feel kinda useless, so I thought I could at least serve as a bad example)
Thread: Corel buys Bryce | Forum: Bryce
Will Corel cooperate with Curious Labs on animating Poser life within Bryce? Bryce is much more than a terrain generator. Undefinable surrealism has always been Bryce's great strength. I work with ElectricImage 2.9 every day, but there is something about Bryce that "changes" your mind. The animation of Poser characters within Bryce by importing a pre-animated sequence of 3D files into contiguous frames is extremely time consuming, but the results are almost always beyond description. An entire branch of digital cartooning is lost to us if integration never takes place. -Gear
