@Lobo3433 Creators edition is not so bad now to install now. They had to pull it shortly after release and stopped the automatic UD roll out once the issues started to show up in numbers. I have probably had it for a couple of months and it has been very stable. Sure footed as a mountain goat with 3 legs my friend so be brave.

I am going good Lobo. I took Boni's post that is was internal ports which some have suffered driver issues on 1703 updates. that and GPU's
For reference here is another one that took a week to solve. I cringe with every update LOL.
If - MS Windows 10 Creator (Version 1703) update knocks out 3D apps, Lightroom etc or any other application causing it crash on opening.
Check - Control Panel > Programs and Features list and see if you have -
RivaTuner Statistics Server in the list. It was shipped in PC's with afterburner, Nvidia including some AMD GPU's but separate to your cards drivers/update etc
If it is a version less than - 7.0.0 beta 19 uninstall and restart PC > try the application to check it works - If yes then
Go here and download nothing less than the 7.0.0 beta 19

Lobo is pointing you in the right direction Boni. Consider yourself lucky the update only knocked out the USB ports. It knocked out Explorer and a couple of drivers for me.

It is unable to find the associate data files and defaults to the boxes, I Get that with the occasional early Poser prop. You will need to ensure that she is installed correctly.

Have you tried to add the Poser content folder back in the Content Directory Manager? Or at least see that it is there.

For those that wish to continue using Poser and would like to see Poser soldier on then the upgrade is excellent value and throws some support for the team. I am primarily a Daz user of the two but never regretted the upgrade.

Sorry for the late reply RorrKonn the others have weighed in.
- For the most part, Superfly will render most of Firefly textures and all of Cycles shaders. If something comes out black, Superfly cannot translate it. Check the log and it will tell you why so you can fix it.
Edit. Put it this way Poser 11 Pro upgrade is well worth taking up for the extra added ability vs dollar value.

Use both. Depending on current the job you are working on and the feel of the project. Do you want 3Delight or Iray, Firefly or Superfly all have their qualities and if you are commercial the current offer from SM it is worthwhile to take it up.

We seem to have discovered a gap in the market, there are no cute cat/kitten beating a dead horse videos on YT although there might now be some confused photographers on shutterstock wondering why anyone would want such a picture.
There are no cute cat/kitten beating a dead horse bundles in the marketplace for Poser or Daz. Do I see a missed opportunity here?
