P6T works extremely well with 12 GB and NVIDA 9800 GT SLIi x 2 on windows 7 x64.

everything I've installed poser 7-8 carrara 7 and vue 8 inf no problems.

I have 2 monitors on this box an old viewsonic bottle and a 1080p LCD

Renders that took all day to render on my old dual core now render in hours so to keep my machine bogged down I now can render 3x4 6400x2400 to maintain my all day renders when i'm working.  One thing to modify on w7 is standby sleep mode, i7 needs a method to see cpu usage and if below a level then go to sleep.  Poser 7 uses 13% of the core, poser 8 uses 100%. carrara uses 100% but is still memory limited.

Its there now, Installed it on monday myself.  Fixed a few bugs in my i7 setup

Vue 8 runs in 64 bit mode with my nvida SLI setup and utilizes all cores and ram.  Haven't found any
limitations yet.  In win7 you have to prevent the box from sleeping and I've done much higher resolution renders than I could do with Vue 7 Inf.  a typical render on my machine is normally
3200 x 2400 and i've done as high as 6400 x 4800.  The next setup I want to try is creating a HDRI
with the usual spherical camera on a render which they say vue can do.

I've also added some ancient usb microscope which uses xp drivers and it installed and functions
just like it should.  Win 7 Ultimate works fine for me

no problems with poser7 & 8, carrara pro, Photo shop cs 3, vue 8 infinitte.
clean install and had to get the proper drivers for the NVida cards to run
in the proper mode.

To add to the confusion, running windows 7 on a sysmax machine
with a I7 core, 12 gig, and Nvida 9800GT Sli video cards.  No problem with posers, carrara's and
vue infinite 8.

windows 7 is much faster than xp, and blows the doors off of vista.

my machine cost 1600.

If my memory serves me right you can apply morphs to the character and the same pz2 file to the clothing.  on stockings for v4  the magnetize clothing always seemed the fix the thigh poke thru.

on my I7 core it does 100% With p8 and 13% with p7.  on my old 32 bit dual core it would do 100% with p7.  It renders pretty fast still but of course p8 is much better even with all the bugs.

What worries me the worst now is the SM and poser 8 will be broken every time now that Adobe flash updates itself and of course IE never updates.  It makes perfectly good sense to rely on 2 external programs that have a history of poor coding and being broke.

so count on poser 8 being broke on and off.  Maybe time to put in requests for poser 9 before the
coding starts.

I too am a Poser pro user but I bought P8 so Now I only have to pay the difference when Pro2010 comes out. Makes it a bit easier to spread the cost out in two payments. Plus the chance to beta P8 and the pro when they finally let us.

P8 right now is a PITA but on my p7 core 64 bit, rendering uses all 4 cores X 2.  renders much faster than p4-7.  a few service packs and It will be a kicker.  One bug of note, a hr2 item texture if it begins with numbers will not apply the materials.  my solution set up in p7 and reload in p8.

Yes the magnitize clothing works in carrara especially for tight fitting clothing like any of the tight
stockings from hongyu.  On some items they don't seem to do much on others they are pretty
usefull.  Even works in poser 8.  Never tried em in DS3.

No baggins is correct, If i disable internet connectivity wity my firewall software the library disappears.
If I disable the wifi port by disconnect from the network the library does work.  My apologies to the coder when you disable the internet with zone alarm even though the port 127.0.0.1 is in the trusted zone it is disabled.

I have my p8 on a quad core w 12gb if I close my internet connection the library disappears and  remains blank until the internet connection is restored.  Also if you install old content the rsr's are not converted to png's.  The coders decided not to support their own products.  As a matter of practice the internet does not exist when my machine renders, the internet is not connected, Vue7inf, carrara7,maya5,poser45678,lightwave.  so bagginsbill take that back to the coders please.  Try p8 on your main machine and goodluck

I like wise support this, if you become too much of a PITA I may have to take my business else where and I do purchase enough here to count.
