Quote - I can't find the colorize script for you but I found this one which is free which looks like it might also do it.

Thanks, but that must be very close to the exact opposite of "easy", especially because you don't get any feedback until you render AND you have to do it for each and every part of the body AND you have to type in the values every time... Changing the texture map in Photoshop and then editing the cr2 was tedious but way easier than this.

I thought more of something like some pose that you can directly apply. Also maybe some Pythone script that applies the values to the whole character.

not a clue. it just pops up while rendering a simple scene with one fully clothed v4. but maybe it's optimized for nekkidness. ;-)

You mean they got rid of it? I use it only when I want to render something that doesn't require raytracing or displacement maps. They probably figured that Poser4 was dead and anything connected to it would be gone by this version.
well, yeah, at least i couldn't find it any more. it was hands down the fastest way to quick-check the scene and shadows before it gets really time consuming. can we have it back, please? pretty please? :)

Thread: script for downsizing textures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
WOW! works like a charm! i used image resizer powertoy - select bitmaps, rightclick, "resize pictures" ... ready in 5 secs. THANK YOU!!!

yes, i know about image resizer and photoshop, got them already, but the trouble is to search for each and every texture attached to poser figures and clothes, resize them, rename them (i don't want my original texture to be destroyed) and link them back to poser figure. that's just too much to do it by hand for 50-60 figures. :P
Thread: cloth parts disappearing after dhanging transparency | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
it's an opengl issue or more likely the amateur-like implementation of it in poser. it all renders fine, it's just the preview (document window) that's buggy. the other preview-style (sreed or what's the name) looks cruder but it shows the changed transpareny map correctly.

i don't do anything just set transparency to max and add a new map for transparency slot.
but i just found out, that if i load again the original map (change the diffuse map to anything else, then add original diffuse map) it works ok... well... poser... nuff said... ;)
Thread: no reaction on pbm-morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
so what is the point it having a fbm dial if you can do nothing with it? i find it's very tedious having to switch beetween fbm and partial morphs. i'd rather have no superconformer but active fbm dials. Â

bah, in my 4-5 years at 'rosity i've seen much worse flame wars in poser forum then in old C&D or OT. but they can't close poser forum, can they? so it is a plain old "we have our principles, but as long we can earn some bucks, we might not live by them." hypocrisy? you bet! rosity will become a sell market, a mall or something equally soulles. it will be full of hobbyist making gazillions of "naked vickies in more or less low-resolution backgrounds, who will be shoulder-clapping each other and bying another light-set, being unable to make one. so what? one site takes a declining road, the others will emerge or already are. c'est la vie. after more then a thousand mornings accompanied by 'rosity's forums, this is my last posting here. see you at chickensoup @ poserpros! p.s. and if not, be well, it was fun! :)

another step in the conversion from a community to a shopping mal. luckily, not all poser communities are so commercial-orientated. guys, see you somewhere else. i just want to thank people who have different opinions than mine, for the endurance they had with me. cy
