The mixing of real people with the Poser figures is always problematic--the Poser people appear more wooden in comparison. This is less of a problem when the Poser figure is not so human--the scaly creature, for instance. Or the space-suited people. I struggle with this myself, and my only "solution" is to deepen the shadows across the Poser faces. This is not a real solution, though. Something else that might help could be to use more "easing"--beginning and ending their movements more gently, to avoid jerky movements. But you know, you do a really good job, given the limits you are facing. What do you use to sync the lip movements? And the human figures--you are green-screening them? That is a lot of work, especially if this is basically a one-man show. I am impressed. I dont speak German, so I cant comment on the story--tho I do feel you are using more dialog than necessary. And once, towards the end, the woman in the white lab coat spends I think an inordinate amount of time with her back to us. But you are doing an amazing job, and I look forward to see more.

I believe you can use the Poser wind machine to make an animation of her hair blowing about her face. Has anyone tried that?

Thread: Is Poser Dying? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I know this can be a contentious issue, but if we can be civil it seems to me it's a subject worth addressing. I only use Poser, so my knowledge of DAZ is limited, but my sense is that people are impressed by the Gen 2 and 3 figures and their resources. Gen 2, I understand, works with some difficulty in Poser, and Gen 3 works hardly at all. I suppose this is a strategic issue for DAZ, to get more people to bypass Poser. That's a shame. I'd like to experiment with the Gen 3 figures, but am reluctant to shift my attention to a different program. I like Poser, I'm used to it. I am curious to see how the new Paul/Pauline figures come together. I see a lot of grouching about Poser, but I think most of it is misplaced. But still, I'd like to see more (civil) comparisons. And is there hope that some day the new DAZ figures will work easily in Poser? Like V4/M4?

The guy on the left is named George, he's well-known here locally for walking backwards. He does it very well, even though he occasionally bends a street lamp when he bumps into one. We mostly ignore him, stepping politely out of his way. Once, however--this picture clearly refers to this--another guy, rather mischevious (some call him demonic), started imitating him, as a kind of mirror. He would stand in front of George, while George was backing up, copying every gesture. He did it very well, too. He even dressed like George--George was always in bib overalls, and Dave--that's the mischevious guy's name--managed to find overalls that buttoned left over right, instead of right over left, making it a true mirror image. Poor George became disoriented. His walk--normally quite graceful--became awkward, disjointed, and his face, normally serene, twisted into awfuil grimaces. They clattered and clanked their way up and down our streets like conjoined twins. They did this for some time. Finally--I guess this was a gradual awakening on our part--we realized we could no longer tell them apart. Which one was George? Which was Dave? Going through parking lots, they began to twirl, in a kind of dance. When they crossed the streets, cars smashed into each other. Shop owners began shuttering their shops--if the two of them came in, everything seemed to become disarranged, spooky. Finally, last March it was, our town began emptying. People left. The streetlights blinked on and off without anyone paying attention. The last time I was there, a few weeks ago, I saw them, still attached to each other, swirling and swaying and dancing down our deserted streets....

Thread: What's Poser Tube? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Paint Shop Pro uses Tubes--they are a bit like a Photoshop brush, you can "paint" them into a scene. I'm not sure how that would apply to Poser or 3d art, however, unless you just used them as additions in your backgrounds, in a PSP scene.
