Thread: Spend 1000's of $$$ and get NO Support!? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
He says he was in the marketplace, which is ArtZone, and the Help page there goes to a generic faq page with a link to the main CS portal. Since the AZ help page is part of AZ, he gets the ban message but access to the main CS portal should still be available to any user, no matter their member status at the forums or AZ.
The ticket system uses the store settings, not the forum settings. Clicking on the Support link at the main DAZ site should take anyone to the CS portal (ticket system).

You should still be able to access the ticket system. I've attached a link.Thread: Please cancel order | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Thread: Help with free item (not working) | Forum: Bryce
I just tried loading the bike in 6.1 and it imported correctly. I tried it several ways, importing into the Objects Library, pasting it in via the Windows folders, with and without the plus sign.
All versions loaded correctly without crashing Bryce.
If it just won't cooperate, you can delete the OBP file by going into the Bryce 6/Presets/Objects folder, locating the offending OBP file and deleting it.
If you imported it into a category that has other objects in it, select all objects except for the bike, export them as an OBP file, go into the Bryce 6/Presets/Objects folder, delete the old OBP file and then replace it with the one you just exported.
Oh, I was able to successfully get it into Bryce 5.5 as well, so if you have that version, maybe try it there, save it as a scene file, then open it in Bryce 6.1.
Thread: 6.1.13.1 update | Forum: Bryce
Except for updates to the IBL Tab, no changes were made to the Sky Lab, including the starfields.
Thread: No sky presets with Bryce 6.0?? | Forum: Bryce
The usual reason B6 crashes when accessing a library is because the presets weren't installed or were installed to a different directory.
Take a look at the library through Windows Explorer. Inside the Presets/Skies folder, there should be an Installed folder and a User folder. In the Installed folder, should be 7 .bsk files: Backdrops, Fantasy-SciFi, Nightime, Starfields, Daytime, Rainbows, Sunrise Sunset. The User folder should have the User.bsk file.
If those files aren't there, then accessing the library will crash Bryce. The same goes for the other libraries.
Thread: 6.1.13.1 update | Forum: Bryce
When you install the update, make sure you change the default pathname the installer shows to the one where your Bryce 6.1 is installed.
Once 6.1 is installed, you should not have a separate copy of B6 installed on your machine. They don't play well together.
To see the version installed, you should see Bryce 6.1 in the header bar at the top of the program and when you press Cmd/Ctrl and choose Help > About from the Menu Bar, the popup will show version 6.1.13.1.

Quote - Not sure I like the limited export abilities though, however what an awsome scean builder, I love it.
The only things you cannot export from Bryce 6 are:
Imported meshes can be exported by clicking on the "E" button, then pressing Cmd/Ctrl+D
http://documentation.daz3d.com/bryce/Reference/LabsEditors/Mesh_Editor.htm
For everything else, use the new Convert to Mesh option:

Thread: Can I change a Bryce 5 or 6 file named .OBP to work in poser 7 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You are loading the OBP correctly, i.e., from the Create Library.
Does the loaded object have a "U" next to it? If so, then it is a group and may contain a Bryce primitive, which cannot be exported unless you are using Bryce 6 - which is why there is no "E" next to the object.
In Bryce 6, if the loaded object is a group, click on the "U" button to ungroup it, then select each object in the group and set them to positive, select all the objects and group them again. Next, click on the "C" button that will show up next to the new group and then export the converted group using File > Export.
Thread: Show of Hands! VISTA and Bryce 6.1? just curious here...problems are much worse. | Forum: Bryce
Quote - I just need to blame someone other then myself jelisa! No you are right but they should have done some testing with Vista that makes little sense and is practically asking for problems as all new PC are practically bundled with Vista. Of course I blame developers for most of societies woes!
Â
Understandable, but remember that Vista wasn't released until the Bryce development cycle was almost over. That doesn't give any time for doing much with it other than making sure it actually runs on it.

Why do you blame Bryce when the system requirements don't list Vista in the system requirements?

There's a setting in Vista that you need to set in order to fix that header problem.
Right-click on the Bryce shortcut or executable and choose properties. Click on the Compatibility tab and enable Disable Visual Themes and Disable Desktop Composition. Click on OK.
Now open Bryce and the menu should look correct.

Thread: Bryce6.1 - Exporting? | Forum: Bryce
The Convert to Mesh option doesn't work on imported meshes.
If you'd like me to take a look at the file to see what works to export it, you can send it to my daz e-mail and I'll be more than happy to check it out for you - riggsd at daz3d.com
