It looks like you have a number of backwards-facing polygons. If you set "Normals Forward" in the Materials Room, that might help it render better. Are you importing with "Make polygon normals consistent" checked? Possibly that might improve something.
I know UV Mapper Pro has some tools to help correct backwards polygons. I seem to recall that Wings 3D might correct backwards polys on import. If that's the case, importing and exporting with Wings might fix it.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking. He apologizes for this. He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.
Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
Quote - Load the obj file into the latest version of PropViewer, click on remove duplicated faces and fix normals and then export it again as obj file (with a new name).
PropViewer fixes all what is wrong with obj file's geometry.
I,m on Mac too bad: An utility for viewing Poser files (pp2, cr2, hr2) and obj, 3ds, dxf and ply files. Stand alone Windows PC application

I emailed a reply with some suggestions for those .
It all imported into Poser 7 sr2 with no problems, just using center and floor options.
The pic is what I get as a render with a simple color texture applied to the glass
I examined the obj files in wordpad for any issues with continuation lines and there are none.
Sorry, but I dont see a problem with the models. There may be a bug in obj import :(
