There's several other ways to make thngs conforming. But PhilC's is the one I would recommend anytime. I have several other programs that can create conforming clothes, but none of them as easily as Obj2Cr2.
I would suggest a taper at the top, they're very straight up and down at the moment. For the folds, I'd cheat and run it through the cloth room with a good lining constrained as to keep them from falling off L
Other than that? Perhaps extrude a single row of polygons along the leg to make a seam, but that's optional. You can do all that with displacement maps really.

Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
I brought the top edges in as suggested.
Hmm, as far as the bum, other than smoothing...the only other thing I did was to select more than one vertical line (started from one side and went to the other) then Vertex Modeling---->Connect.

Trekkkiegrl---I can UV map in Hex? I won't need UVMapper? Is it easier?

What modeling advice are you wanting specifically?
I read something about poke throughs so I'll comment on that.
You need to be aware of the areas that are going to give you poke throughs while you are modeling, so you either adjust while modeling or apply a modifier/tool/etc that will expand your model to a safe distance from the figure...or go around and adjust by hand.
I would also grab the loop around the knee, turn on a soft selection and slightly contract those loops so the legs aren't perfectly straight.
Modeling is a learning curve. You want to know ahead of time where your trouble areas are, unfortunately you won't know that until you start modeling and making things, converting them into figures and trying them out.
Phil tool works, or just break your model up in your app and name correcrtly (lShin, rThigh, etc).
Every 3d app is different but they basically all do the same thing. You really need to explore your tools/modifiers/etc to know what each little crazy thing does to alter areas that are troublesome. It might be well worth your time to purchase a tutorial on your program and watch a pro as he/she works, this is where you will start to pick up on the small details.
You'll want to start adding extra loops around joint areas (knees, elbow,etc) to help with bending too, like you did in the groin area.

Thanks for the advice DarkEdge. That's exactly what's missing---the loops around the Knees. Not quite sure as of yet how to do those and folds. You said I did it above. I don't know which step that was. I basically either molded a shape with all my arrows (Manipulation tools) or selected lines then connected them.
From modeling to conform what are the steps?
Am I right in thinking this?
1.)Model the clothes
2.)UV map the clothes
3.)Rig the clothes
4.)Make the CR2
5.)Texture the clothes
A five part process? In that order?
Adding loops and/or edges can be done in any app, you just need to figure out how and where that is in your app.
Your steps are just fine for creating clothes. My process is very simular, I save textures for the very end after all rigging is done and everything works in Poser just fine.

To create loops you need to look at spinquad. It requires two adjacent polygons selected. Its easier to try it than explain :)
You can make a blank cr2 to use as the donor , then you dont need to rig at all. Just group your geometry and replace the obj file in the Blank cr2 with your geometry file name.
You could clean up the top bit by some careful deletions and welds , but since its working move on .

Yeah I'm going to play around with this. I already know the steps to making pants (without having to watch the video) because I've played it so much. I'm going to try googling some things too.
I looked in the Hexagon forum over at Daz and it doesn't seem that alive. I'll post some inquiries over there too. I'm so used to asking and getting responses over here.

What/where's "spinquad"? I looked in my hexagon and I can't find anything named that. But perhaps I'm looking the wrong place?
This is how I'd do an extra set of vertices (don't mind the "pants" they were some I just whipped up from a box to show what I mean...)

According to the video (Bless JGreenlees' heart) I'm basically done. I'm supposed to fix the poke-through. I've gotten all of them... well except for that top piece in the front.
I imported at 500.00 so will export at .002
Also will hide the material as to not export MiL 3 with the pants...
