Excellent! That's what I always wanted to know. Until yet, I only used layered har because of this unsolved issue. Thanks - Walter

I want to say something positive. The picture of the bench is quite nice. Well, hmm, it was made by his daughter, oops. He only posted it... :-)

I absolutely agree dlk30341. It seems that the big companies are really afraid to lose money or their laywers need more activity (and money).
I wouldn't use a well known name, but anyway ist this enough to be removed? OK, let Star Wars be protected, but Sand People? Sometimes you use names, you do not even know that they are copyrighted. This world gets sick somehow with its regulations.
In Europe even Windows is a copyrighted term, which is just a common english word! Thanks to the power of Microsoft. :-(

I would say that a lot of people try to use the best features of a software package. Vue users often make landscapes with a lot of trees and flowers and Poser users often make humans or animals, because Poser is very good at that. You get Vicky out of the box with great textures and you do not have to think a lot to render her. Don't get me wrong. You see wonderful nude art here. There are some very good artists around dedicated to pin-ups which reach almost Vargas quality. I'm against any restrictions, besides child pornography (which is disgusting) and other things that are forbidden by law (which country?) or TOS. To get the best in the gallery, you have to accept the crap. You see the thumbs and you get a list of favourite artists in time. It's like in real life. Go to an art gallery and you will also find a lot of things you don't like and these pictures are already preselected. Here everyone can show his work and if you don't like it, others will do. - Singular3D

I'm a member there for several month and I only can tell you their textures are awesome for only 10 bucks a month. Lately they try to do extra shots for hand poses and eye textures. - Singular3D

Well, in my point of view, it is a matter of what the maintainers of this site allow. A little bit of clarity would help. I would assume you should be on the safe side if you remove the references. Al other details are subject to laywers.

@Imckenzie: I can only partly agree. If I look at our company and the decisions our management makes, this is the place where most of the money is lost. Let the employees participate on their success (e.g. company shares), which is still not common here in Europe and productivity will rise again. I am always amazed about this nudity discussion. Maybe because I live in Europe. I wonder when it will be forbidden to look at greek statues and old oil paintings (e.g. Rubens) for people under 18. I would not be afraid that someone sees rendered nudity on my screen at work. You should be afraid, that someone sees you doing something irrelevant for your job, if nudity or not. I do surf at work, but I also work about the same amount at home. My work must be done with a certain effort, wether at home or at my office. It's that easy and no one asks for more. At least at my business.

Thread: Material Node Editor | Forum: Vue
Didn't know much about the node editor, but I have started to work with nodes in Poser5. The possibilities are almost endless. I love to render with Vue5. Especially outdoor scenes. Unfortunately I could not transfer the complex P5 materials to Vue and so I never used them until yet. Maybe I can get near to the P5 materials with the node editor. This sounds promising. Think we need some kind of best practice report.

@queri: I absolutely agree with you. I only comment on pictures I like somehow. Sometimes I would make things differently and I do suggest that. On the other hand, I do it the way you do it. @ynsaen: You can always comment on the pictures in my gallery. I love constructive critics. This helps me improving. Sometimes I may see it differently, but that's ok. It also helps if one not only says 'this is bad', but also gives practicle hints on how to improve it.

So I'm not the only one who experienced that. Thanks for your hint. Saves me from a lot of troubles.
