To be honest, agiel, I saw it, was surprised, and created the thread. It didn't occur to me that people would take my observation harshly (I don't mean you; I received a nasty PM already about this).

Funny thing is, I love Vue, I was only taken aback to see a likeness of an image that I admired for years in that video, one that was created in another program. But your explanation of how works can be used in these situations casts another light on it for me.

There was a "Husband Shopping Center" where a woman could go to choose a husband from among many men. It was laid out in five floors, with the men increasing in positive attributes as you ascended up the floors. The only rule was, once you opened the door to any floor, you must choose a man from that floor, and if you went up a floor, you couldn't go back down except to leave the place. So, a couple of girlfriends go to the place to find men.

First floor: The door had a sign saying "These men have jobs and love kids." The women read the sign and say, "Well that's better than not having jobs, or not loving kids, but I wonder what's further up?" So up they go.

Second floor: Says "These men have high paying jobs, love kids, and are extremely good looking" "Hummm, say the girls. But, I wonder what's further up?"

Third floor: "These men have high paying jobs, are extremely good looking, love kids and help with the housework. " WOW! say the women. Very tempting, BUT, there's more further up!" And up they go.

Fourth Floor: "These men have high paying jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak. "Oh mercy me. But just think! What must be awaiting us further up!" So up to the fifth floor they go.

Fifth floor: The sign on the door read, "This floor is just to prove that women are impossible to please. Please exit the building and have a nice day!

First to say, aeilkema, the images you linked to are absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous, gorgeous work.

I haven't used Carrara yet, but I've been happy about importing Poser scenes directly into Vue (particularly after the penultimate Vue update (version 5.10)). Before that, I was always nervous, lol. I love big scenes, tons of vegetation... But I used to have to save after almost every other major change to be sure I wouldn't lose my work.

That changed after the update, though. I find Vue to be far more stable now. I love the way it handles Poser scenes, the render possiilities, etc. And then for importing huge scenes into Vue, I found this thread very helpful. (Link will open in a new window).

What I love about Vue 5 Infinite as well is the option for infinite layers. Someone told me that hiding layers in Vue while you work saves on memory, and I found that to be true. I was also able to render enormous scenes this way without a hitch.

Really nice of them. I wonder why? Maybe they don't want to seem as if they're following behind Content Paradise... Still, there are other options beside Asian characters. Guess they don't see the market in it. All I can say is, thank God for custom morphs & texture packages or else the whole of the Poser world would look the same.
