Hello again everybody, I just wanted to thank your all for your input and help. The more I read, the more I learn. Everyone has been so helpful. Thank you all soooo much! I will be trying all of these ideas today hopefully. I tried a simple setup last night. Zeroing the figure and adding the dynamic clothing worked well. Really hope there's a way to make Victoria clothing dynamic. Some sort of patch from CL or something. Anyway, when the dress was applied, Judy's knees protruded from the dress. Once I began the simulation, the knees were covered by the 4th or 5th frame. At frame 30, things were looking pretty good. One glitch was that her foot still protruded the edge of the dress unnaturally. I will recreate this and post for your input. I've yet to mess with any of the dials to any real degree. Here's a chance for me to figure out what they all do. Again, thanks so much for everyones input! I really believe a caring community like this makes this makes all the difference. It sure has for me. Nebula

Man, I agree 110% lmckenzie! I do the same thing. I even put the proper directory structure together for some of them. Even tho I do enjoy organizing things a little, I would much rather be rendering something. :) Nebula

Along the lines of moving things around, I've written a small VB app that edits the file locations within the CR2 or PP2 files. It's my understanding that the RSR file will rebuild itself if it doesn't exist. I'm still debugging it tho. It currently just edits the texture files. Would a program like this be of any interest to anyone? Thanks Nebula

Hey, Thanks everyone! I like your idea Aureeanna, everything in the same directory. I have started from scratch with Poser and will implement your idea. Thanks! And Lorraine is right, too many folders and you lose access to some. That's what I want to avoid. I need to come up with some sort of generic directory scheme to use. I did finally organize all my 3D downloads and purchases so I could find them..... or at least have a clue what they are. Some of the download names are VERY strange. We should make download names like.... char_P4Julie0104.zip char_V2Julie0104.zip pose_V2Photoshoot.zip prop_cainchair0104.zip ....something like that. A catagory, itemname and maybe a version number if necessary. Then when you see it... bam.. you know what it is. Also, an intact directory structure would be nice too. Since everyone gives their two cents worth, I guess there's mine. Again, thanks for everyones help! Nebula

PabloS, Yes, I've noticed that too. It's intresting that something out of place on a face is noticable right away and when it's right, it makes all the difference. As for Ron's question, I did the image in Photoshop to show the different results I got. I'm by no means any kind of expert. And no, I don't do tutorials for a living. I just tried to copy the layouts I have seen. I do thank you for the praise tho. It means a lot to know that others find your work to be good in some way. Thanks as well to those who mentioned which picture looked best. I would have to agree that the middle one does look the best. I look forward to trying Denise's method tho. I love a mathmatical solution to things and her idea certinally fits the bill! Thanks again Denise! Nebula

Well CryptoPooka, I wish I had the hair to tear out! And my cat seems to know better than to get around me when I'm working. hahaha I think I am getting close to getting it tho, doing it by hand. Kinda tedious. I also had the thought of adding an object like a ball or something, having her eyes point at it and then move the ball around somewhere behind the camera till it looks right. The trouble is finding the proper line of sight. If I get it to work, I'll post it or something. Thanks for the replies tho! Nebula

This is true. I neglected to mention that that is what I have been using, (point at). It works fine from a distance. But up close I think Poser gets confused where the eyes should focus when it comes to the camera. I would assume that Poser would focus the eye on the origin of the camera. However, I don't think the origin of the camera is at the center of the lens. I would think it would be set to the center of the camera. Therefore, up close, the eyes would actually focus somewhere below the lens. This is of course just a guess. In any case, up close, the eyes are off. :) Nebula

Hey, Wow. Other people who live in Ohio. Sometimes I think I'm the only one.... Krakadarr, Jackson.... I have done only a little bit. I animated a .45 in the hands of Cheyene (DebbieM). You can see a picture of it at http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=301351 I have the avi if you'd care to see it. I guess what I'm really after is to see how characters are posed. What do you set first. How do you modify if things don't move right. Also, how to fix blemishes and bad joints and stuff. It sounds like Krakadarr has some experience in that area. I guess I feel like I have some decent tools. I just want to learn how to use them better... .properly. I work at things sometimes and think there's got to be a faster or better way to get the results I'm after. The help I receive on Renderosity has be fantastic. I have no complaints whatsoever. Everyone's great. I was hopeing getting together with someone more experienced and seeing things done "realtime" would be a good place to start. I have a real desire to do animation. But it's sort of like Astronomy. If you take you telescope out and can't find nothing you want to see, the hobby gets to be frustrating. I don't want my desire to animate to become frustrating. I sure thank you for your responses. If you think you would be interested in getting together, I'm sure up for it. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again! Nebula
