I had the same problem but the IPB was not pointing to M3 and I didn't see that for a while. I uninstalled (delete) and reinstalled everything with the updates then it worked correctly.
Thread: How Can I "edit in" Custom Morphs with Injection Bulder | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I believe you can name your spawned morphs PBMCC_01 (or any number to _50) and then you would go in the text editor and rename the Blank Channel. The blank dials are PBMCC and so forth. This is a tip that I got when I asked almost the same question. Maybe someone can be a little more helpful or in depth. This is something that I'm intrested in too.

Thread: Little Mike 3 .... Saving Face INJ + magnets | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks guys, I needed some help going in the right direction. I'll try on all parts. The magnets sound kinda trickey but it doesn't hurt for me to experiment and see what happens. Now that I have a starting point. I do have him saved in Pz3 format. You know I'm printing this out! BTW: that's the Jade texture from Daz and Ziggy's Roll Neck Top for Mike 2. Pdx, sorry no.. not for sale I wouldn't know where to begin but I can send you the directions. It was easy making the body small and only one magnet in the head and one in the neck. What you can't see is where the neck connects to the torso is all weird.. looks kinda jagged when rendered. I think that's a mesh issue. The same with the neck, it's weird too when down sized. It doesn't shrink very well.
Thread: What do I do when it has died? Any help appreciated. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ditto on all the "I know how you feel"s... When I was going to college the art professors used to tell us that when we got "artist's block" similar to "writers block" to go back and clean up the studio. That's always worked for me. Go over your old stuff, get rid of some old stuff, take inventory of your art supplies, keep some and toss some (you get the idea). Cleaning up the studio is like going over your life and trying to find why you started creating art in the first place. Why am I keeping this box of charcoal nubs and 15 giant markers (all dried out)? So you toss out the markers and keep the nubs! One important thing is to try and get back to basics like drawing, photography, watercolor things that you can get messy with. Draw shapes, take pictures of objects and I like to do watercolor landscapes. So all this basic stuff will somehow bring back that creative spark you might be missing. It won't happen overnight but eventually you'll sit back down at your computer and create one of the best works you've created.
Thread: Problem with Mihai M3 Hair | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It's alot easier to reduce the texture size using a photo editor. You have to think that the Yann/Casual/French/Mihai hairs have like what? 4 or 5 texture maps and then 4 or 5 trans maps on top of that and each are lets say 1000x1000 or so. That's alot of large pictures on top of the body texture, head texture, lash trans map, pubic hair trans map and then your props and clothes models and their textures. Mike 3 is no small prop with one morph those injection morphs eat up alot of resources too. So reducing texture sizes is what I've found to be the most easiest thing to do. I even do it with the high resoultion body textures. Just back up your folders. I've reduced my favorite the Yann hair and French textures to 1/4 of their original size and I see no difference in quality. It's all good.... 8^)
Thread: M3 What kind of clothing would you like to see for him? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Suprised no one has put out some bodyglove textures. I went looking for some last night and then I tried some free V3 ones that I found but that just locked up my computer. Regular current trendy clothes pleezze. A/F Baggy shorts, flip flops, cool shoes like black Kennith Cole type or Steve Madden type bowlig shoes, Polo type shirts, Timberland hiking boots, Ralph Lauren type baggy jeans... or is all this what I want? hahaha.. ;^)
Thread: Poser Hangs When Using Julian Hair | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you look in the texture maps folder you will notice that the texture size and trans maps are huge and there are quite a few texture maps for the hair. What I did is back up my Yann hair texture folder then in the P5 texture folder what I did was reduce each texture map in half. Including the trans maps. My computer stopped getting hung up during the render stage. In another experiment I reduced the texture maps in half one more time, the hair still looked the same (good) and the render time was even faster. I like the Yann hair and I didn't want to stop using it so I was trying all sorts of things to try and get it to work in P5.

I use an All-In-Wonder Radeon 7500 Video Card, AGP 4X, 64MB DDR; Powerful all-in-one 3D, TV and video for your PC Powered by the RADEON 7500 GPU, 64MB DDR memory Stereo TV-tuner, TV-ON-DEMAND Time shifting Integrated Interactive Program Guide, capture and edit MPEG-2 video into your own creations, Radio-frequency remote control, DVD video playback I like it because it has TV/video in and video out. You can use your TV as your monitor. It comes with Ulead video editing software so if you make movies in Poser you can use this software to put it together and add sound/music. Then reverse inputs and watch your creation on your TV

Thread: POSER 5 RELEASED | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The guy at the Poser booth told me $349 for the full version... I hope I didn't missunderstand!! He didn't know what the upgrade was going to go for. BTW, the Poser booth at Siggraph was the most uneventful. It had a big Poser5 box and that was it. No demo and no handouts. The guy told me that it would be released in 5 weeks plus all the stuff that marlo said. Now for something that was going to come out in a little more than month you would think that they would have at least had a flyer. Can I get that in real time? The buzz word at Siggraph was "real time"... everything's in real time now... that's if you have a 1ghz processor.
Thread: ... but is it ART? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello Morphy, I have a degree in fine art and I too thought the same thing. Is it art if I use things others have created like skin textures and buildings. After using Poser for a while I've found out that I enjoy using things others have created and using them my own way and using them to create things that I see in my head. I love doing watercolor, working with clay and photography but I also love working with Poser. Doing so allows me to use Photoshop and Bryce to enhance scenes, colors and textures. Recently I started scanning my watercolors into my computer then using Photoshop to enhance the colors. At first I thought it was cheating but then I was like... hey..who cares they look better! Just like I'll pay up to $20 for a tube of paint I don't mind paying a few $ for a model I can use over and over again and thank heaven for the people who do freestuff "hats off" to them. Eventually the paint will go and I'll have to buy another tube but the model will last as long as my computer holds out. I say use any medium you can get your hands on to express yourself and get together with others to share ideas. I see it all as collaboration. Just my two cents... 8^) happy rendering!
