Oh that is very real. I started school in '59 and we had drills where we would sit against interrior cement block walls in prepration for nuckear attack. The "Duck and Cover" was made into an actual film by Civil Defence and shown in schools and on TV as a PSA. You can probably find it on You Tube,
The best way to survive a nuclear blast is get into a refridgerator. This may only work if you're Indiana Jones.

Hi Zhann! Vista and (I'm assuming) also 7 allow you to run older programs under emulations of previous versions of Windows built in. Not perfect but works OK.

I want to be placed in a casket at the funeral home holding a sign that says, "What are you lookin;' at?!"
For an epitaph, I can't decide between "Pardon me for not rising" or "Buzz off!"

I'm 56 myself, Harrison. Freshness of meat is relative. Perhaps new meat would say it better?

If you have dual core make sure you set the priority setting to high (under render settings drop-down menu) . You'll have to do this every time you render. But like always, complexity increases render times.

I think it's more good-natured ribbing. Orb and Dhama have a zero history and tolerance for trouble-making in my experience.

Q; Thought I might enter, but I'm getting to know the built-in HDRI features and the image I'm working on depend on using it with "as background" setting on. The HDRI image is "Cherry Blossom" which is included in th Bryce6 package. Will this break the rules? It is all Bryce including primitives, boolean and terrain.

Thread: Does anyone use DOF in Bryce? | Forum: Bryce
Yep, Bobby is right. If you want the kind of results I'm guessing you want, you'll need to use premium rendering with at least 64 rays.per pixel. The same is true for soft shadows. Takes longer to render but I think the difference is worth it, HTH.
