Well, I'm not sure if this will help or not. I'm running Poser 4 under Classic in Mac OS X. I make my morphs and then export them as .obj files just as MarianneR so nicely illustrated in message 6 and 7 above (thanks MarrianneR!!) Next, I select the body part in Poser and do a command i to get the body part properties. Then, click on the button named "Add Morph Target." You can then select the .obj file you previously exported and change the parameter dial label at the same time. Click OK and if all goes well, the new morph will be applied to the body part. Again, I'm not sure if this works in Poser 5 or not.
Thread: Pathetic plea from new to mac user :-( | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi there Shoshanna! I used to run Poser 4 on an iBook G3 (366 mhz) and an iBook G3 (800 mhz). Poser will run fine in the "Classic" mode of OS X. You don't need to create a separate volume for OS 9. On the installation disk(s) there should be an option to install the Classic environment. This creates a system folder for OS 9 and your classic applications (like Poser 4) at the top level of your hard drive (alongside the OS X system folder). You may have everything you need to solve your Poser installation problem. Which Apple laptop do you have and how is it configured (memory and hard drive size/free space)? As Gini mentioned earlier, you might want to drop by the Macintosh forum here... It's under the "Topic Forums" drop down over on the right side of this page. I hope this helps in some way! :) Lee
Thread: How many members here are Mac users? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm using a G3 iBook 366 SE running OS X (10.1.2). I have RealPC/Win98 installed and can run a few lightweight Windows utilities with it. Lee
Thread: Searching | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi there goliath_slayer. Late last year I removed all my freestuff from here, Renderotica, and my Geocities and Mac.com web sites. If I decide to make my PSL (Porn Star Lee) character available in the future, that will be the way to obtain the male genitals props. Unfortunately, I don't have sufficient space/bandwidth on my personal web sites to allow for this to happen. Also, redistribution of my free stuff is not permitted. Perhaps in the near future I'll be able to find a suitable web site to put my stuff back up. Oh, the only bears I have are the human male variety. :) Take care, Lee
Thread: A simple question for the Mac users out there... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Steve! I've just upgraded to OS X (from 9.1) when 10.1 was released. Poser runs significantly slower for me in Classic mode. My vote would be for OS X. Lee

Thread: Poser 4 keyboard shortcuts? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
One thing I find useful is the glossy tri-fold card that came with Poser 4. On one side is quite a large list of keyboard shortcuts. Some of the animation keyboard commands are listed under the "Hidden Shortcuts" section. When I used Help from the drop-down menu, it launched Adobe Acrobat Reader and displayed the Poser 4 User's Guide. Perhaps you can locate the .pdf file on one of the CDs. Hope this helps. Lee
Thread: Muscle morphs for poser 4 figure... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You can find a vast number of morphs at Traveler's excellent web site. There are all kinds of muscle morphs there. Here's the link to MorphWorld 2.0: http://morphs.bbay.com/main.html Also, I have a new Poser 4 Nude Male character that has morphs that I've created over the past several months. This character is finished, but I'm waiting for Renderotica to re-open (I hope) so I can make him available. Give MorphWorld 2.0 a try. You shouldn't have any problems finding muscle morphs there. Have fun! Lee
Thread: Eyecandy 3.... for FREE! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Eric, thank you so much for quickly fixing the form!! :) I'm downloading EyeCandy for the Mac right now and doing the happy dance. Once again, thank you and Alien Skin for making this available!! Lee Yay for me!!
Thread: Eyecandy 3.... for FREE! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Eric! Thanks for the quick response!! The "Need Eye Candy for the Mac" link isn't a link (I even looked at the source html). :) It's simply text without the html tags. I'll keep refreshing the submission form to see if it gets fixed. Thanks again! Lee

Another wonderful free download from Eric at Critical Depth and Alien Skin. Thank you for the terrific goodies! :) Will there be a Mac version available? I filled out the download form but there wasn't a Mac version available. Also the link (for the Mac) on the form isn't active. Anyway, thanks again for providing folks with cool software!! :) Lee
Thread: Male Genitals For P4 Female | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I recently reposted the male genitals props (and an add-on pack) to Renderotica's Free Stuff area. You can find both over there. This is version 2 of the original props which added more morphs. Also, the add-on pack (in Free Stuff as well) provides 5 additional morphs. Do a search in the Poser Free Stuff for "leemoon" Hope this helps! :) Lee
Thread: Getting morph targets from one figure to another????? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You can use MorphManager by Mr.X to move morphs to another figure. I suspect this utility is in the Free Stuff area (haven't checked though.) The long, manual way to do it is to set all your character's morphs to zero, then, one by one, set the desired morph parameter dial to 1.0, export the body part as a morph target, reset the morph dial to 0, and continue on with each body part/morph dial. You'll end up with a bunch of morph .obj files that you can now apply to the new figure. MorphManager is MUCH easier than doing all this. :) Hope this helps. Perhaps some other kind folks will clue us in on some alternative/better methods. :) Lee

Poser 4 and Bryce 3D (version 3) work just fine. I've been running them without any difficulties for a couple of weeks now (ever since 9.1 came out.) I'm on an iBook SE (366) with 192MB RAM. Perhaps someone will let us know how Bryce 4 behaves on 9.1. Lee
