Tried parenting beard to M3 head, but when I changed the size of his head, the beard did not change with it.

It worked. Thanks! I thought I had already tried this obvious step, but apparently...doh!

Thread: problem enlarging hands | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I did try suggestion #1, but the fingers still did not fit well with the hand. But I found a solution. Instead of enlarging the hands, I enlarged the whole body, then, part by part, reduced the size of everything except the hands and fingers. Now the hands and fingers look fine.
Thread: Trouble with texture change updates. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
obm890, Thanks. I was hoping there was some sort of setting I could change that would help. And kawecki -- thanks for the suggestion of the work-around. That's what I ended up doing for awhile.
Thread: trouble rendering full timeline | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually, the hardware is up to it. Dual 3 GHz Xeons, 2 GB of RAM, lots of hard drive space. How would you suggest setting the virtual memory? I set it to 10/500 and 1000/2000. Neither worked.
Thread: P6 Memory Problems? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
hmmm. My problem is that I am using the P4 renderer in P6 and getting the memory error. Unfortunately, the P4 renderer has no settings for bucket size, etc. Any suggestions?
I have to use the P4 renderer in P6 because I am working on the last scene of a long animation and it needs to look the same as the other ones (which I created in P4-PP). And I can't render this last scene in P4-PP because it includes five V3's and I would lose all my morphs (cross-talk).
System, project info: 2 GB RAM, dual 3 GHz Xeons, nvidia quadro fx 500 card, XP Pro, 400 frame animation.

Thread: Losing Y rotation | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You're right. My figures are set at near 90 degree rotation in X (although not exactly 90). When I stand the figure up, the Y rotation is back. I did find a work around which is to stand the figure up before moving it to the new position, since this gives me the Y rotation back. Thanks for the help!

Thread: Anyone else cleaning out their runtimes to make room for P6? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have a little different approach, I guess (as far as organization). I took the time to create a document with all the items in my Runtime folder (names and descriptions). It is MUCH faster (for me) to zip through a hard copy document of all my stuff than it is to poke through Poser. One glance at a page (It currently has 11 pages with three columns of data on each) gives me an over view of many files and items. I update the document every month or so.

Thread: looking for court jester character or clothing... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks to everyone. The jester hat is very usable, but a full costume would be even better. Tilandra, please let me know when your jester outfit is ready. Thanks!
