Maybe Corel will. But if CL didn't include support for Corels current flagship rendering prog why would they bother? Surely its up to the people who are developing and releasing new software to make it compatible with the software that's already out there and widely used. If they dont there is no onus on other developers to support the features that they themselves have neglected. The more I read about Poser5 and its fantastic new array of bugs and glitches the happier I am that I decided to wait before buying. The 'fantastic' dynamic wire-wool hair doesn't export at all? Sits back and waits for Daz to get their act together

It seems to be improving but I've had similar problems. Understandable during a move to a new server I suppose. Hope the bugs are ironed out soon though.

I never imagined in my dreams being able to see artists complaining about their wind not working.

Theres an old maxim that goes, "Those that can, do. Those that can't become critics."

Thread: Final Render Resolution / Size | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I do most of my final renders at 1600 by 1280 and Maximum setting for saving the jpeg. This allows me to pick up on a lot of fine detail in postwork. I usually then reduce to 1024 by 768 and reduce jpeg quality to medium (8) for posting to Rosity. Some sites with low limits set on filesize may need a more drastic reduction in image quality to get the filesize low enough.

Doubtful if you could get a sweat effect directly from within poser. I use layers in Photoshop. The basic plastic filter set to about 10% transparency is a good start point. See also the tutorials section at www.dendras.com for a step by step. For individual beads Kais Power Tools 6 has a gel overlay that can be cut and sliced to shape.

A category entitled 'This is an advertisement for something now available for sale in the Marketplace or now posted in Freestuff' would be useful. Half the new posts would fall into this category though.

Poseable would be good but I could live without it. Although in that case it'd be better if they were posed in the closed position. :o)

If you head over to www.woodartstudio.com and follow the instructions they will email you an excellent tutorial on conversion of poser figures to Max. Your figure needs to have its vertices welded at sub-object level. Woodarts tutorial will explain how. :o)

Thanks Vestmann. Useful link but I think I just found exactly what I needed here:
http://www.3dwoodartstudio.com/3dWoodArtStudio/Tutorial.html along with the link to an Obj to Max utility.
