I think that this type of 3D will remain called Poser... kind of like when people refer to any type of cola as a "Coke". It'll just become the generic name for this type of art no matter the actual program used, especially since "Poser" is so much more cool a name than "Daz Studio"

maybe its just as simple as finding out that once they stuck everything they wanted into the proggy, that 90% of the people out there wouldn't have a computer powerful enough to use it for much. Just take a look at how much power V3 takes (and Mike 3 will undoubtible be bigger), now add a much more robust and involved program and it could end up beyond most peoples machines ability to cope. That would kill their "1 million" target pretty fast.

Looking at the title of the offer it would seem to me that everyone who would want to go into this store site would know exactly what was being offered so I doubt most would be that shocked. It's a difficult area because people want to know what they are paying for before they buy not matter what the item is. Besides, if these are the best all time selling products, obviously there are a lot of Renderosity members that want it here.

They don't even close the stores of these crooks, inform other sites to watch out for these crooks or stop the crooks payment checks let alone refund the money to the victims. Renderosity should immediatly do all these things plus send money to the person wronged equal to what Renderosity made in profits from their illegal sales. It's the least they can do. Right now, Renderosity is profiting from these sales so much that it might just take the threat of a lawsuit to get them to go about it the right way.

From what I've seen Renderosity does very little to discourage people that do this... perhaps you should consider suing Renderosity for damages, might be the only thing that gets them to play hardball with these lewsers

If someone is caught selling someone else's items, is that person allowed to continue operating a store if he removes the item? I should hope not because that would mean Renderosity is complicit in the deceit. This type of thing should not be tolerated at all. stasisxxx should have his store closed, no more money should be sent to him, cancel any checks not cashed yet, ban him from the site permanently and send a warning to all other Poser merchandise sites.

Don't expect anything new for Mike 2 from Daz unless its from a broker... just like with Vicky 2 they'll have stopped supporting it once they made the decision to go with Mike 3 and will have started devoting their energies to creating the same clothes for Mike 3 that they already sold you for Mike 2
