The textures on the buildings in the background of:

have reflections in the winows; here, they're reflecting the light sky behind the camera-they used to reflect the Statue of Liberty in an earlier version when it was in front of them. I think they're just standard Bryce mats from the "Architecture" pre-set material category.

The building group on the right would keep jumping forward after I had adjusted something. Not enough to notice the first half-dozen times, but the overnight renders were always screwed up; took me a few days to realise it was happening. "Save, save, save" became my mantra......

I frequently notice this; thought it was my eyes.....I much prefer the black background, you seem to get much better contrast and saturation. Just the other day I spent a while seeing if we could force our pictures to appear on a dark page here, but no luck. One of the reasons why I now routinely put borders on my work.

A bit off-topic, but after years of using earlier verions of Poser with Bryce with virtually no problems, I have put P7 back in the box and am going to sell it on Ebay.....it just does not work at all with Bryce (or my Vue 5 Infinite, for that matter); absolute piece of s**t. Total waste of £90!

I've tried importing a previous Poser 6 file into P7 and saving it, but no luck. I even tried a scene consisiting of just a single primitive sphere prop...same result...just crashes, real quick, it's like it doesn't even read the file. Reported it to Daz Tech Support.
