I guess I was thinking that's the one they leave out. But then I look at that little finger and get all confused.

Hi, ninhalo I'm wondering if we're missing something about weird looking tiff files and the actual model looking nothing alike, as you say. One picture and model, or more than one? Go into Poser and set the Body Z-scale to like 2 or 3%. Flat like that? Keep in mind that nobody has mentioned props and morphs yet. That might explain.

Way back then, I mentioned extensions mainly to qualify your System software. You've gotten some good advice since. My suggestion is you let us know how it works out. =)

Have...checked off = checked, possibly? Possibly, when you make the original transparent in Photo Shop Painter (?) it either turns only one level of color transparent leaving a nonsensical anit-alias on the new background; or, alternatively, eats the 1 or 2 pixel wide anti-aliasing as part of that process. Just my .02.

Type 10 is a generic error, something happening in memory. Boot with Extensions off (Shift key down at startup); if Poser works OK use the Extension Manager to sort it out. If Poser still fails, boot from your System software CD (letter C down at atartup). If it's OK then, it's your basic System software and you re-install that. If you haven't trashed the Poser Prefs file (Preferences folder in the System folder) do so. Good luck.

Well, Thank You! And that goes for Tisa too. I can understand about the link completely; what I don't understand is the 18 hours before I went to your site and nobody mentioning it.

Thanks for mapping this out. I understand that I'm trying something the program wasn't intended to do. It's not like I use the 2nd and 3rd installs, they're just there. I guess I'll jump in and make it happen. Thanks again for your time.

I just completed your survey. I'd like to say thank you again for Maconverter. It's not only invaluable, but a pleasure to use. =) I haven't yet tried Macinstaller, and it's time to fix that. Here's why I hesitate: I've got 3 Poser folders installed (4.02, 4.0 and 4.0 w/ some/most/maybe all the Metacreations installed stuff removed) with both duplications and differences in the Runtime folders. I'd like to just drag and drop all three onto (maybe Macinstaller) and have it sort them together, but it's Gigabytes of stuff and I'm not sure it's the best approach. What's the best strategy? TIA
