First step I'd try is the EASY way...paste your picture over the texture map in an image editor like Paint Shop or Corel. I've had GREAT results doing that.

How odd. I use an OLD, OLD, OOOOLD version of Netscape (Navigator version 3.0 Gold)and I've never had a lick of trouble at any of those places. I've never upgraded to Communicator, too many bells and whistles for my taste. Heck it's only this week I finally clicked on the MS Internet Explorer icon to see what the other browser actually looks like...actually, it was because my trusty old Netscape doesn't load the chat room here...

Hey, W'heezer, when you reinstall, try backing up POSER.EXE and POSER.RSR. I've had Poser crash that way, too and those two files are the ones that seem to get corrupted. If nothing else, it'll save you the the trouble of doing those reinstalls over and over.
