Thanks Allerleirauh andJeff ... Allerleirauh .... what kind of shadow map do you render with? I set this to 600 instead of the 256 but was still getting the jaggies. I also lowered them to .5 from 1 to try to help but they are still there ...Thanks

All you people talking about editing the CR2's .. Grumbles Wish I could try it one of these days but I can't since there is no Mac editor that I know about ... that and you guys get good video games too ..

Pretty awesome for a first picture ... I might lower the ambient lighting on the trees to give more depth since it is kind of washed out right now ...But good work

I cant think of any off hand but you might be able to to take the trenchcoat and hide the collar things and put a texture on it ... All I can think of at the moment

Scott ... Actually I wouldnt mind having him as a character Though I hated him in the movie ... I have a cousin that just loved him so I could do a picture for her and then I could blow him up ... And like it or not (not) he is part of the series and he is suppossed to be in the second movie so is really a part of the series so would be good to have in pictures ... Plus the creature he rode would just be cool since it doesnt have to be ridden by Jar Jar and would be a great thing for alien pictures ... And I would truly hate to see all the work you put into it go down the drain .. He looked very wel made ...

The ripples are fairly easy ... a terrain editor model with the greyscale circles like DM suggested ... It depends on what kind of splash effect you want but I think Codemans splurt would work well ... You can find it as a freebie at his site in the links below ... The R.S.O.B. site below has a good number of links to wave and water tutorials ... Hope that helped some
