Ahh... a very wonderful idea. Then one would be able also to take any pattern or photo - turn it to grayscale, put up the contrast(or turn it to clip art), and paste onto the netting and finally create a B/W tiled surface. One could even create a pattern in program like PatternMaker, then turn it to clip art and place the pattern onto a larger canvas of netting. Very Ingenious! (I am now Snoopy dancing in middle of my computer room) Thank you very much Dmentia for your tip and time, you have been a great help... The wheels are now turning... :-)

I have found lingerie sites that have nice examples but are usually to small to gather any detail from. I have been doing searches for suppliers and manufactures hoping they would have larger samples on their sites that they would perhaps be selling whole sale. Show Examples in order to help me create my own textures. I have not come across any such site as of yet. Eglesgift by the way, at this moment, only has a number of lighting presets to download, but thanks anyway. I could go to the local fabric store and buy some lace and scan it, but I live in a very small town... perhaps this is not cool thing to do. lol :-) If any one can help me on how they go about creating their own or know of sewing patteren books, order catalogs, etc it would be great help.

Thread: poses for p4 woman vs. poses for victoria | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I find if you transfer any pose to the additional figure "Stick Woman or Stick man" and do not save the morphs in your new stick person pose. That one can then transfer the stick womans/mans pose to Vicky or P4 Fem /Micheal or P4 Man to create a good basic clean pose structure to work from without worrying about one model influencing the structure of the other. But still in some cases you will need to do some tweaking Dale MacMullin

There is another Free UV mapper I use, which I find handy to have and is quite good is "Lithunwrap"(win only). You can download it at: http://www.geocities.com/lithunwrap/ It has the following features. * OpenGL 3D model viewer. * Easy to use UV coordinate editor. * UV maps get updated in real-time. * Assign materials per face to objects. * Pan and zoom in UV mapping space. * Export UV maps to high resolution bitmaps. * Soft, polygonal and rectangle selection tools. * Assign diffuse and opacity texture maps to materials. * Decal, planar, box, cylindrical, and spherical UV mapping. * Distortion free UV maps using detached face mapping. * Auto-generates UV mapping for tube and torus primitives. * Import/export LWO, OBJ, DXF, 3DS, ASC, COB, and X files. * Import many popular game file formats. * Import textures in BMP, TGA, JPG, PCX, DDS, TEX, OGF,LIF, MAT and RSB formats. *Create plane, box, cone, cylinder, sphere, geosphere, pyramid, prism, tube, torus, and 3D text primitives. *Includes a basic set of 3D modelling tools: moving, scaling, rotating, subdividing, aligning, extruding, bevelling, flipping, tapering, twisting, flattening, mirroring, triangulating, and untriangulating. *Runs under Win 95/98/ME/2K/XP (OpenGL on NT w/SP4) Dale MacMullin

Thread: How do you convert high res textures to low res versions? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Your one up on me there Lyrra, I have not had the opportunity to try or test the new PhotoShop 6 products. I use 5.5 personally and the tests we have conducted at our multimedia company seems to hold true, but if you ever have the opportunity to check out DeBabelizer there is nothing that can hold a candle to it - the only thing its wrong with it is that is pricey.

If you have Macromedias Fireworks 4 it has one of the best lossy compression engines in the market place. Its better than PhotoShop and most of its sister plugins and compresses files by half as much with the same output quality. If your really lucky and have a program called DeBabelizer (used allot in the film industry) you can reduce file size and target color to the pixel and save it in any format without losing the quality of your nice high res texture. I just purchase "The Tail" and I wonder and hope codetwister will put out a free patch or upgrade to clear some of these issues up.
Thread: rButtock and lButtock Kind of Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you your import, it will always be appreciated - the problem is, I am looking for a short cut to convert clothing (I know... I know...there is no such thing as a short cut in 3D) I recently purchase Michael and Victoria (they are wonderful, and will have their place in my future work), and I have been trying to convert my own P4 characters to Vicky and Mike. I would prefer to use the Vicky and Mike P4 for these upgrades, but I can't get their bodies even close to the nice configurations I had with the my latest morphed-out Eve and UMM, etc. Due to the lack of finding morphs targets for Vicky & Mike P4, I am forced to move up to the nicer and more flexible higher end II figures. Then, one has to contend with the clothing and costumes conversions (sigh)...I starting to come to my wits end or at least the lButtock and rButtock of it. Thanks Dale MacMullin
