If it helps you save wasting your time looking....I've spent *years* looking for a method to get Poser to do it and have never found anything suitable and long ago decided it was OK to combine Poser and Photoshop instead. I know you have Poser 7 but you might like to know that the latest version of Poser can produce a kind of line art which sometime looks OK. I've yet to really delve into it myself, but this is a quick test, a picture being worth a thousand words an' all. Direct render out of Poser Pro 2014.

What a guy. I read that he was rescued by dolphins a while back after falling asleep on his surfboard! That's right, rescued by dolphins! Even the sea-creatures love him!

I had this exact problem trying to re-texture a free 3DS model I'd downloaded last week. Did some research, and it appeared that the normals in the original model might have been facing the wrong way i.e. backwards, as the texture which I thought I'd applied appeared on the back of the model, and was thus invisible from the front. I'm no expert, so shoot me down if you want, but it might help.

Material Room - Advanced - Atmosphere - Depth Cue On. This is a straight Poser render, to prove that it does work.

However, it takes ages to render at a decent quality - If you want the benefit of about 5 years of me messing around with atmosphere in Poser, save yourself a bunch of time and add depth in post via a ZDepth render instead. Much more controllable and a whole order of magnitude quicker!

The map I used is a Photoshop brush, so no artifacts to worry about. I think it was by Deviney at Daz3D for about $11:00 or so; there are dozens of free ones on the web too, some with no useage restrictions. Of course, you need to have Photoshop or something similar to use 'em. Good luck with your projects!

I never knew this -I've had Snarly's script for about a year. I've spent hours laboriously going through the material room, setting that bloody texture filter to "crisp" by hand, for every damn node, on every picture I've rendered for months now. Hurrah for the Snarly one!

This must rank as one of the best Poser tips ever! After unchecking "light Emitter" on the dynamic hair, the attached image went from about 1 hour to render to about 5 minutes, even with the shadows switched on for each of the 270,000 or so hairs!

Sigh....Bryce used to always save a BMP of the current scene when saving said scene. Really wish Poser would do it too!
