I just spent two hours over in the galleries and could not find a single Nude render of posette or vicky could some PLEASE!!point me in the right direction??!!!!

The default P4 baby is way too cute!!! are there any morphs in free stuff to make him look more like a frog!! im desperate!!!!

I would not bother with OS 8.5 it was an unstable peice of crap I have the 8.5 CD but only use it to in stall 8.5 and IMMEDIATELY install the FREE 8.6 update whenever i reformat my main drive I definately agree with the recommendation that you use the HFS+ file system as an example I have a nine gig internal backup drive where i keep backup copies of all my apps and extensions and fonts etc. this back up drive is not formated with HFS+ and my poser runtime folder takes up 1.2 GIGS of space. My working copy of poser4 on my main 20 GIG HFS+ formatted drive, uses 762 megs of space so its quite a difference

I think the number ONE priority for poser 5 should be a new renderer!! I am not talking radiosity or any such high end stuff. We have top of the line detailed human figs ( Vic2 & Millenium man) we our propac. if we could have a render engineand lighting on par with your basic default Bryce render. poser would be a much more popular program in the professional character animation arena

Where did you buy a version of lightwave that old??(5.5) I would suggest making sure all of your import plugins are loaded in the modelor but my experience is with LW 6- 6.5 only and if you get the propack you can export your poser geometries as Native Lightwave objects(.lwo) dont know if this helps

Thats great!! and timely with the release of Final fantasy this week, I recently got" Lifeforms" from Credo interactive and it has powerful animation and rotoscoping tools that i will utilize in my character animation work it is VERY!! compatible with poser4. I think marketing poser as a powerful tool for aspiring animators is a brilliant strategy on the part of Daz and Curious Labs

It about time!! Daz and Curious Labs should heavily promote Poser 4 as a character ANIMATION Tooll with features that make it an excellent choice for aspiring animators to prepare a demo reel . it would expand posers user base and make outsiders realize that there is more to poser than endless still renders of half naked and naked Vicky and posette. Good show DAZ!!!!

Hmm "Metaballs work like booleans and cant be seen in wire frame veiw" Dissapointing, i will conintue to make make my smooth organic shapes with my $ 40 seat of amorphium ( which is now a free give away on the latest cover disc of 3D World mag) and i already own Onyx tree Pro with extra libraries to export exotic trees to bryce And i am primarily an animator so the Soft shadows and other stuff will be lost in the action of my movies and a waste of processing/render time. light lab: neat but those gradient colors can be easily done in photoshop 6 in post on Stills. Overall a nice upgrade but Not a" must have" for me at least

You should really revisit your poser-4 manual.(Start on Page 205 chapter 9) Poser has very powerful key frame character animation capabilities and can be used to make a very realistic swimming dolphin animation but you have to be willing to LEARN how to create it. I think there are no users in this poser forum who even bother or have an interest in the animation features of poser so i wont waste your/My time trying to discuss it here Good luck in your seach.
