you can also do from dos box
copy *.txt final.tmp
rename final.tmp final.txt
do it as two steps or the system tries to copy final.txt back into itself.
Note: this does not guarentee the order of the files in the consolidated file.
regards
reading your original post again I would use wordpad (if you have nothing better). Open your new document in one window, open another copy of wordpad and open each .txt file in order, do a copy and paste.

Thread: Question about Dynamic Clothes, how long with what? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Some of the time requirement depends on how closely the clothing item is to the final result. for example, doing a skirt that starts as a close fit is very quick and may take 10 frames. Draping a shawl that starts as a rectangle may take 50-70 frames. I try for about 5 frames where little movement occurs. It is fairly obvious if more frames are needed.
Thread: PV STUDIO 3D : another mocap software video based from japan ! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
philc, from what I get out of the english page the system uses two cameras set to cover the recording area at 90 degrees. The two cameras are input to the software which can then calculate the marker positioning in 3d. There are some quicktime samples to download that show the process. No price that I could find. There are a couple of these things on the market. The results are very good IF you get the camera positioning precise and keep motion towards the middle of the capture area. regards
Thread: How is Daz Studio better than Poser? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Having a proprietary file format would seem to preclude (prevent) users from doing much file hacking. I mean with the text based files in Poser you can add ERC controls to existing models for your own use. How is this going to happen in a 'chunked' format. (at least it looks like it to me) Control of its operating software will also give DAZ the ability to add features that are incompatible with the competition. 'Yes it is a great model but you need DAZ STUDIO 9.4 to use the features' Where have we seen that sort of thing before. Also competition in a field does NOT always result in a good outcome for consumers, especially if the competitors choose not to be fully compatible, and you can see that is NOT happening with DAZ. 1. No support of poser5 in daz studio. 2. Import poser to bryce only through DAZ STUDIO. How long before Bryce will ONLY allow DAZ STUDIO format imports. It will be interesting to see if DAZ makes its file formats available freely to content and utility developers. p.s I have tries DAZ STUDIO Beta. On my system 45 minute load time - 2 hours plus to get the Dragon in, move the mouse, anything up to 10 minutes for the screen to move. Simply not a real application. Maybe on a 2.4 ghz + processor with winxp.
Thread: any one knows how to fix colors? | Forum: Poser Technical
It could perhaps be a color depth problem, maybe even a driver problem. If you are displaying 32 bit color images as 24 or 16 bit you might get that effect. Do you get the same effect on both monitors ?

Thread: 360 animation render issue? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, I did a test render with a P4 business woman as the center figure and set main camera to orbit the figure, 360 degrees in 40 frames. Output to .swf file, used 64 colors, quantised on frame 1. Images rendered ok and animation was ok. Unless you have sowehow turned on motion blur I could not duplicate the problem. regards

Thread: Render farm for hire? Legal Hassle? Any advice? | Forum: Vue
Hi,
Put this question to Curious Labs and/or Daz and/or whoever makes Vue for their comment.
You would need to clarify what renderer/software you are using.
I once looked at render farms and the feasibility of doing work for high level hobbyists but found after the hardware costs, software costs, problems of differences in the renders between processors and copyright issues the fees had to be too high. I have gotten quotes for rendering a couple of animation projects I was offered and the commercial render farm charges just made it too costly.

Thread: Stuff for P5 Don & Judy | Forum: The MarketPlace Wishing Well
Yes, poser5 did not appear to get much support, probably because the Vic and mike characters were already out. There is a BIG download from runtimedna at curiouslabs or just try runtimedna directly. I did see a police uniform for Judy, dont remember where, and it was micromini skirt and tiny halter top, more fantasy than real. regards
