To each his own. Every item offered is not going to suit everyone. If you don't like it, don't get it. But as Mystic-nights apparently has taken no offense, who am I to quibble.
Happy Holidays!

I like freebies. That being said, I think providing freebies to the community is an excellent way for someone to learn their craft, whether it's texturing or modeling.
In the end however, you-- the end-user, have a choice, even when it comes to an item for sale. If on viewing you don't like what you see, all you have to do is walk away...
If you really, really can't resist the unrequested critique, perhaps a private pm might be a better alternative than what amounts to public ingratitude.
I read somewhere "a model is not reality". Oh, right that's your signature...
(Sorry, I was trying so hard not to be sarcastic)

If you did this with little modeling, you've inspired me to try again!
Not sure if you're using P6 and I'm not familiar with P5 or 7, but trying plugging the displacement into the "displacement" node (use low values) and then be sure that use displacement maps is checked in Render Settings.

Your laurel crown is shaping up excellently. Love the way the leaf tips curl.

I replied over at Faeriewylde as well, you might look at Baument's Archive he has a laurel on the second row from the bottom, center thumbnail

Thread: Who Made These Stump and Log Models? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't recognize the rest, but I'm pretty sure that your first log (upper left) is log1 from DAZ's Dragon Altar kit.

I don't have PICK, but you might look at Roy Loo's Balconey door set and his windows sets at PoserPros. I only linked to one of the window sets, there are about three others.
Thread: The sections of a PZ3 file; or, how to salvage a corrupted PZ3's info. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I certainly hope you get an answer to this, cuz I have a few Pz3 that are problematic myself.
One thing I did try was Runtime Repair. It checks for and repairs things like invalid braces, invalid file references, invalid file quotations. The one time I used it I had mixed results, while I was able to open a file I'd been unable to open before the amount of time that had passed since I created the file (and the version of Poser I used when I had created the file) meant that I had a completely different runtime and some things were no longer available on my system.
Good luck and I hope any solution to your dilemna gets posted here.
Thread: Few questions about Aiko3... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, I'm curious as to DAZ's reasoning also. But I'm happy with the result.
For the record, the first and second generation millennium figures were, like Aiko 3, all morphs contained. It was a shock upon initially purchasing the millenium 3 figures to discover you had to go back and buy two more packages (face and body morphs) to get a fully functioning character. It was especially a shock with M3 because the base model didn't even have expression morphs. Then to discover for every additional figure you had to go back and buy their face and body morphs...
Chinnei, perhaps the reduced resolution versions of Vicky 3 or Mike 3 might be of use to you when using multiple characters.

Thanks, I had just started the render with Raytrace on. :blushing: It's a wonderful thing.
You know, one day I might actually figure some of this stuff out... then I'll be dangerous!

Sorry about the delay in reply- computer issues. Ajax, I have you materials and love them, but I had always assumed some of the water ones (particularly falling water) were for P5 only, cuz I always end up with a cascade of black tar. I must be doing something wrong with the lighting. I'm trying for an indoor waterfall, what type of lighting should I be using.

No, I think this product may pre-date Poser 5 / 6. There are no mat files as they are 3DS models. The only suggestion in the readme is:
In Poser Version 4 or Poser Pro, for the water objects, reduce the appropriate Render Materials Highlights to about 50%, and increase the Transparency to about 85%.
I believe the ad copy was rendered in VUE
