What a very thought provoking piece of writing! Very good use of metaphores(I believe that is what it is called). I do see what you mean and feel here and tend to agree with it. Very nice work!

Lisa, I looked at your art and I think all of them are wonderful in their own right. It is all in the eye of the beholder. You are doing a wonderful job. I would say they look better than mine. They are wonderfully crisp and clear and such wonderful shapes and colors too. You put up what you love and if those who do not like it well they just won't. The most important point for me is that others enjoy my work. It is not about the top 20 images for me. Just let me encourage you to continue to put up your images and let us enjoy them. Beth

Thread: Life is too short...revisited | Forum: Fractals
Thank you thank you thank you! I started to feel a little overwhelmed by it all and I just made a general statement. I hope they all find a peaceful resolution soon so we can all help each other. Thank you so much for bringing it to the rightful place again.
Thread: From my paid shooting - any suggestions? | Forum: Photography
Ok here are the ones I tended to like the best 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9. Number two I think would have been a good image if the hand had not moved and you could have seen her face more. Number eight I thought her foot did not look well positioned. Number ten was good except I thought the space between them took away from the image. One of my main questions is about the other two men. I know these are just a sample, but they look real left out. As to my thoughts on which might go on a cover is either one or three (if all of them had been in it). I am not an expert, but those are just my preferences. You did well and I hope they send more business your way.

I am terribly sorry I guess I did not explain myself very well (at times I am unsure how to state things). I was not saying that UF is a bad progam or even that it was a bad buy. The images I have seen here on Renderosity prove it is a wonderful program for the money. I have a hard time understanding how some programs work. I guess what I was asking is if the image shows whether I am going in the right direction with this program. I appologize for the miss understanding. Thank you for your comments though. UF has alot of loyal users here.
Thread: Robert's very last photo | Forum: Photography
Well what do I truly expect. Robert had an eye for beauty and a gift with the animals. I am glad Bruce let you do this and Robert is most likely very happy he did and so are we. This is such a wonderful capture. I miss hearing from him and seeing his lovely images. I should not say more for I will start to cry. Just simply thank you. To Cynlee, yep that song fit just perfect. Yep I miss those songs too.
Thread: More on comments - thanks | Forum: Fractals
I agree if you do not wish to have a comment on your picture, then make sure you say so upon uploading. I am still new to the Fractals section. I added only my second picture a couple of days ago and have truly appreciated each and every comment I have received. I lack confidence in my work whether it be in Fractals or basic drawing. But with comments and suggestions, I know I will get better. I also get a kick out of some of the comments too. I find out that people get different things out of my pictures. It is refreshing and comical too. As for checking on my pictures every few minutes, I will say I have been guilty of that once or twice. Not for my ego, but just excited about what people might say or if I would even get a comment. Now if I get a comment, I am just grateful as they come. There are some really awsome pictures in this gallery and wonderful artist. I do not know if I understand what has been going on lately with this forum (actually it seems to be present in several forums), but I thought we were here to encourage and learn from each other. I would hope that that would be the main purpose of being part of a artistic community. I will continue to make constructive comments and hope they will help those who want it. As I would love to have comments to truthfully encourage me and inspire me. Sorry for going off. I do hope you all have a wonderful and blessed week.
