Indeed....I've figured out the whole process and it's not so difficult.....now I'm just trying to understand exporting the selectors to use in creating the texture....

Is there no way to simply save it as a wavefront object and have it retain the quality it has? That's what I dont understand. It has that option but it doesnt seem to work very well. Why do I have to go through the whole song and dance when it has this option already. Not that I wont do the song and dance, I just figure it should work the other way too.....

I will check it out as soon as I can.....I did try using the highest resolution but it causes Vue to crash for lack of memory when I do that....

I forgot to mention that I'm using Vue 6 infinite at the moment....I have Vue 7 infinite as well but am not really enjoying the new rendering process....

How do you download these "builds" or updates? I just downloaded Vue 7 and have to say that my first reaction was similar to pagans....I loaded a scene I'd been working on in Vue 6 and it crashed (out of memory) the moment I tried to render it. Very frustrating.....

Since posting this Vue crashed on me four more times. Each time I was moving a tree.....a tree! And not a complex one either. Just a simple summer maple.
I do save a lot, and I'll purge my memory a little more often. I just wanted to know how often this happened to others.....

Thought I'd check to see who'd responded because, guess what, Vue just crashed on me again....seems to do it often while moving trees about, and especially after I've just saved....

I have similar results as well, but I was hoping there was a way to stop it from happening all together....oh well...thanks anyway!
