If you use Norton, try setting it to "silent delete," at least for now. It will automatically delete virus-generated e-mail, without your ever having to see it. Also, you can set up Outlook or most other e-mail programs to automatically filter your e-mail. Suggested rules, at least until this subsides: When message is downloaded IF the body of the message contains the exact words 'Run attached file' send to deleted messages folder. No exceptions. When a e-mail message is download IF the body contains the word 'Undeliverable' or the word 'Undelivered' send to the 'Deleted Items' folder. No exceptions. This virus is so large and so prolific, it's filling up fairly large mailboxes in short order. :-(
Thread: Who killed the Product Showcase forum? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have DSL. I still get a 404 sometimes (that goes away if I hit reload a couple of times). Sometimes it's pretty fast here, but often, it's really, really, reeeeeally slow. Seems to be intermittent, but frequent enough to be annoying. The galleries are especially bad. I've given up looking at them. It's only been in the past couple of weeks that I've seen this problem with Rosity. So I don't think it's my connection that's the problem.

I have a feeling a lot of people are avoiding image-heavy forums like Product Showcase. Rosity's better than it was, but it's still running slower than molasses flowing uphill in January. :-(

The Rogue Warrior page is a bit confusing. It doesn't tell you that you need the Fantasy Warrior outfit to use the textures. (At least, I'm assuming you do.) I think it must be an oversight, because Daz usually lists that kind of thing. It just has "M3 base" listed under Required Products.

Also do a search for "XP-anti spy". >> Thanks for the tip, I just did. (I never knew about Alexa. Spybot let me down.) Anyway, I want to post a warning. When you search for "XP-anti spy," the first links to come up lead to: www.xp-antispy.de Do not download the software they offer. It's some kind of dialing software, probably malicious. PCWorld and many other sites point to www.xp-antispy.de, because that used to be the site you could DL XP Anti-Spy from. The domain was apparently hijacked or something. The real XP Anti-Spy site is now: www.xp-antispy.org

Woo-hoo! And there was much rejoicing.... :-D And if it's a texture you made yourself, surely pdxjims could convert it for you.

I'd definitely be interested in your M3 head morphs, GhostofMacbeth. I'd especially like more chin and eye morphs. Eyes and eyebrows are key to getting a likeness, and as many have noted, it's hard to change M3's eyes much with the dials. I'd also like a morph that allows you to change the chin width.

Interesting. I always wondered what that was about. I thought it had something to do with Content Paradise. I've set Zone Alarm to automatically block both PP and P5 from accessing the net, and everything works just fine.

One way around the name problem might be to actually give each ethnic morph a character name. Instead of "French," call it "Michel" or "Jacques." More descriptive than "Variation 67," but not as loaded as specifying actual ethnicity.

Try playing with the ethnic morphs M3 does have. I rarely use the ethnic morphs "straight." Try using a little of this, a little of that. Or start with 100% of an ethnic morph, then try adjusting other head dials. Still, I do wish M3 had more head morphs. I want more morphs that help you to get a specific likeness. If Gryffnn ever does a MikePlus pack for M3, I'll be first in line to buy it.

It's improved a lot since last weekend, but it's still not great. I get a 404 frequently, though usually hitting "reload" a couple of times makes the page appear. And the galleries are like molasses.

I had this problem, too. I don't think it's a matter of processing power, because my computer is pretty new. (I can even render Neftis' hair with Firefly! ;-) Copying the !Daz folder from P5 to PP worked for V3, but it didn't work for M3. Not for me, anyway. I ended up injecting all the morphs in PP, saving the figure, and loading it into P5 from the library. I guess Daz is making good on their promise not to support P5....

I miss the ethnic morphs. A lot of them didn't look like the people they were supposed to, but they were very useful nonetheless. You could mix and match them, and get a great variety of different-looking faces.
