Wow! Now your talking! That would be a wonderful improvement. I know I'm new at that but it can't be as hard as it seems, you know? I haven't given up yet tho.
Thread: Posing V2 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks so much for everyones input. I think I'm going to have to get V3 myself. I've been waiting... still a bit steep in price when you consider everything you need to get for her. Just gonna have to break down and do it. Again, thanks for everyones help! Nebula

Emily, I very much appricate your input. I think I really like the Danielle at Rdna by Visual Silence. ByteMeOK's Amy-Marie is very smooth as well. I think I will seriously consider these two as well as the Cynthia texture. You mentioned "Painted" ones like done by _samildanach. What is the difference? They looked very nice too but a bit..... out of focus, if you know what I mean. Kinda fuzzy I guess. Anyway, thank you again for your input! Nebula
Thread: How do I get clothing to fit a morphed character | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Bill, I was not aware of the difference in clothing and the V2 Morphs you mentioned. It makes sense now. I will be more aware of this in the future. If an item says it's for Victoria 1 and 2, would it still have the FB morphs for V2? You are right about the versitility of the morphable clothing. And I will certinally try to make a few things to see how I do. Can you recommend a tutorial that might explain how to modify the dress design using transparencies? I will look in the Tutorials section. Do you have one you might recommend? You've been more than kind. Thanks again for your time! Doug
Thread: How do I get clothing to fit a morphed character | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Bill, Wow, that looks great! I swear that's what I've been doing. I have since given it another try and I hate to say that the darn thing worked! I have no idea what I was or wasn't doing. I swear it wasn't working. But it sure is now. I truly do thank you for all the trouble you went to. I would like to ask you another question. What would you do in the case of a dress that does not have FB morphs? I have the Cocktail Dresses for Victoria. It does not have any FB morphs. Would you go and adjust the individual part morphs? Again, thanks to everyone for their input and help! Nebula

I bought the Victoria Morphing clothing kit the day after I bought Milena and I was still pulling my hair out. As for magnets, I've worked with them a little but not to good at it yet. I think I will have to look into this Tailor utility. Will it work on any clothing you get here? If I bought a dress or lingerie or something, can it make it fit her as well? Thanks so much for everyones input. I really do appricate it! Nebula
Thread: making a mirror in p5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thgeisel, Hey! That's really slick. Mirror's are something I want to work on but I'm still trying to get the clothing to fit my character (Milena). (I assume those are Billy-T's lingerie sets? He does some great work doesn't he??) :) Is this a true reflection or did you duplicate her and place her on the other side of the mirror in reverse? It sure looks like a true reflection. When you say you put a light beind the mirror, could you elaborate on that a little more? Thanks! And keep up the good work! Nebula
Thread: Saving foot settings | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, it does. I use 5 mostly tho. Another thing to mention is that IK needs to be turned off otherwise the foot returns back to the floor making the legs look reallly sick! lol After I figured that one out, it works great! Thanks for all your help!! Doug

Hey, Memorizing only works in the current file tho. If I load a new file, that all goes away. Is that true? I do use the Lock feature. But again, I was hoping to be able to select from a menu or something for the next time I load a figure. I do like the select subset option you mentioned. I think that's just what I'm looking for. I'll give that a try. Since I have you here, I have one other question sort of un-related. I have the Milena character. You load Victoria2 and select her MAT file for Milena's body shape. Neat effect to watch. :) Anyway, since her thighs and breasts are larger than the standard Victoria, how do you get clothing to fit her properly? I have the conforming Victoria clothing but I don't get how to adjust it so it looks right. I can make it cover her but it's all kinda whacked. I'm even willing to try my hand at making clothing, something I've never done but have always wanted to. Are there any quasi-easy solutions? Thanks again! Doug
Thread: Unwanted animation frames | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
To delete eariler frames, highlight them in the keyframe editor using the mouse and press delete. At least that's how I've been doing it. I hope I understood your question properly. Doug
Thread: Unwanted animation frames | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You know, as for the hands, I was kinda hoping I could take advantage of Collison Detection to get the hands to hold the gun properly. Can I tell Poser to stop a finger from bending once it touches the gun grip?
Thread: Unwanted animation frames | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Excellent ideas! Thanks. I espically like Nerd's setting the animation range to 1. Such a simple solution. I will also start using the Posing and Aux cameras from now on. Thanks so much to everyone! Doug
Thread: Cloth Room | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My experience has been that an animation is required. However, the figure need not move. Just setup a range of frames. The default is 30. Keep in mind tho that 30 frames may not be enough to complete the cloth movement. Just experiment and to see what works best. I've actually gone as many as 120. Once the simulation is complete, simply choose the frame you like best. One other important thing to watch for... if the figure is sitting on something, the cloth may not form properly between the figure and the object it's sitting on. As an untested idea, leave some space between the figure and the sitting object. Poser may be able to fit the cloth between the two properly. As I said tho, I have not tested this. Good luck! Doug
Thread: Poser 5 Cloth Room | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Phil! I worked on another image last night. Made an animation out of it. The number of frames is important for the cloth to finish it movements. Took about 2.5 hours to render 120 frames tho. Wow. But it did turn out pretty decent I think. I don't recall how large the animation is. I'll see if I can add it to a page someplace and make a link to it. Question. I hinted at this in a previous post. I am assuming that the clothes MUST be dynamic clothing. Conforming clothing will not work. Is that true? I've never made my own clothing, tho I would sure love to know how. What is the possibility of converting existing clothing to dynamic? Is that a huge difference or is it maybe a matter of writing a program to do conversions. Another thing.... Is it possible to use the P5 dynamic clothing on Victoria 2 as is as long as I align them properly? Or are the polygons actually created for the Judy figure and will only match the Judy figure. Thanks for your time and trouble!! Nebula
