I understand the hesitation about jumping in. :) My Poser 5 does not work well enough to use on a regular basis, and, frankly, I am afraid to try to install the patch after reading so many horror stories about it here. I am a little bummed by Poser 5's poor performance, but not devastated. I have a nice computer, and Poser 4 works just fine. I have a roof over my head, and the bills are paid. I won't let software problems ruin my sense of well-being. LOL Poser is a hobby for me, and an enjoyable one. When the fun stops, the hobby stops, so to heck with 5 until they create about a half dozen or so more patches. I am still having fun with Poser 4. :) This may not be a popular attitude, but it does keep my blood pressure down. :)

Sci-fi clothes for the kids would be great. Would also like to see some good period clothing for them. The little that is available is primarily contemporary stuff.

I have the NVidia GeForce2MX400 card. Dell computer, Intel 1.9, 512 mem, XP. I also have a 179 dollar piece of software reclining in my computer that is pretty much useless to me. :( I am rather new to Poser (only bought Poser 4 in June), and love it so much that I was really excited about getting the upgrade. I should have saved my money. Either the software is buggy as heck, or my computer just plain hates it. I have gone back to Poser 4. Was tired of fighting with 5. ::sigh::

Thanks a bunch. :) I think it was being caused by the default to rotate tool setup because I am having better luck now. I will have to pay more attention to which tool is selected. ;) Yes, practice indeed. And lots of it! If only I had more hours in the week. LOL I devote so many to Poser now that I am getting complaints from the family! :) --Karen
