Actually, you know, I tried that, and it didn't work? Maybe I did something wrong. Lemme go try it again, and I'll tell you if it works this time.
Thread: poses for p4 woman vs. poses for victoria | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
They may not work quite the same, because Mike, Vicky, and Stephie have some body parts that P4 pack-ins don't. However, I've used poses for the regulars on the DAZ people and gotten results that are pretty close to what I wanted. You may have to do some tweaking (but, alas, don't we always?)
Thread: Getting rid of unwanted sections of clothing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not sure, but I think while I was playing around with making some trim invisible on a French Maid outfit, turning the transparency falloff down to 0 and both transparencies up to 100, that helped. But also, that was on small trim and not a whole bodypart, so it may not work on something larger. Still, can't hurt to give it a shot, ne?
Thread: Armor | Forum: 3D Modeling
BT, your armor is gorgeous and your modelling wonderful, but as a Flash Atheist, I have to say that your webpage has one of the most unintuitive interfaces I have ever seen. Is this beautiful armor still available as a freebie, and if so, where (and how) can I get it?
Thread: Am I doomed? | Forum: 3D Modeling
I agree with the others. I do computer art because I can't draw well enough to fit my vision, but I can render the heck out of stuff. Knowing the mechanics of drawing is good, but if all you can do is stick figures, you can still do computer art.
Thread: Anyone interested in such a tool? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not sure what's up with the object files, but I for one would be interested in the utility. It sounds somewhat similar to the Poser Extractor program, but working on scene files? It sounds like it'd be a great help in archiving files when I'm done making an image.
Thread: Head Morph Help, please? (repost) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Here's another thought you might want to give a shot. Magnets can work on groups. So, make a group of just the faces you want to change, then apply a magnet to those and see if you can get what you're trying for. It doesn't hurt to try, right?
Thread: Has anyone been to the DAZ store lately? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm afraid I've been having horrible problems with DAZ's store. Last week I bought Michael and the Hatchie dragon, and had to do it seperately because the page kept crashing; I just barely got them. Then today when I went to get Stephanie, the checkout script died and took my gift certificate code with it. It won't let me try again because "that gift certificate has already been used", even though I never got to the download screen. I wrote DAZ and hopefully I can get her tomorrow, but I hate having to wait. I like instant gratification.
Thread: Why I'm not holding my breath waiting for Poser 5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
In contrast to Mark, I'd prefer MORE modularity. Half of what's in Pro Pack now, like the Lightwave plug-ins, I wouldn't use, so I can't justify spending so much on it, but I'd love some of the other features. It'd be great for me if it was even more modularized and I could pick and chose what I wanted, sort of a "build your own program" deal.
